About Inflection AI

Inflection AI is a Public Benefit Corporation empowering people with human-centered, emotionally intelligent AI. We’re shaping the future of AI by combining emotional intelligence (EQ) and raw intelligence (IQ) to elevate people’s potential.
Inflection AI created Pi, the world’s first emotionally intelligent AI, to help people work through decisions, emotions, and challenges. Pi is a personal AI agent powered by Inflection AI’s foundation model, proving that AI can be personal, empathetic, and contextually aware.

About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Communications, you'll partner closely on strategy and messaging, and then own how that narrative reaches the market: product launches, content and editorial, social, technical thought leadership, community, and more.

This is a senior individual contributor role for someone who has run marketing before and who can move fluidly between strategic thinking and hands-on execution. You'll set the strategy for your surfaces, build the systems that let a lean team publish and launch like a much bigger one, and hold a high bar for quality and craft.

What You'll Do

Product Marketing

  • Own product launches end to end, including messaging, timing, assets, and cross-functional alignment, so each release builds on the last and compounds into a larger story
  • Translate product and technical capabilities and the research behind it into positioning and messaging frameworks the rest of the company builds on
  • Own competitive and market intelligence: track the AI landscape and turn it into clear implications for positioning, product, and go-to-market

Content Marketing

  • Own content strategy and the editorial engine behind it: the cadence, quality bar, and AI-assisted workflows that turn a small team's expertise into durable awareness and organic reach
  • Write and produce flagship long-form work (essays, guides, whitepapers) and the short-form copy that carries that content across channels
  • Represent the brand voice and day-to-day presence on social, growing an audience that compounds over time
  • Partner with product, research, and engineering teams to produce technically credible work that features accessibility without dilution

Technical Thought Leadership

  • Build the company's technical thought leadership program: work with executive, research, engineering and product teams to surface the ideas worth sharing, then shape them into essays, talks, and threads that stand out in a crowded market
  • Help establish Inflection AI as a market leader in personal intelligence and emotionally intelligent AI

Community

  • Own and grow the community channels. Build real relationships with practitioners, researchers, and power users to expand the company’s reach
  • Represent Inflection AI where technical credibility is the price of admission

What We’re Looking For

  • 10–15 years of marketing experience, with meaningful time owning content or marketing at consumer software or AI/ML companies
  • A track record of building content-led growth — audiences, editorial operations, launch programs — and the judgment to know which levers matter
  • Strong writer who moves between technical and accessible without losing substance
  • A true owner: you align on narrative and direction with leadership, then run your lanes with autonomy and accountability for outcomes
  • Comfortable executing across cross-functional teams
  • Low ego, high output; you take pride in the work itself
  • Fluency in the AI/ML landscape — the players, the discourse, and where it's headed
  • Have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field to the offered position requirements
Employee Pay Disclosures

At Inflection AI, we aim to attract and retain the best employees and compensate them in a way that appropriately and fairly values their individual contributions to the company. For this role, Inflection AI estimates a starting annual base salary to fall within the range of $180,000 to $280,000, depending on a candidate’s qualifications and level of experience. This role also includes a meaningful equity component, allowing employees to share in the long-term success of the company.

Benefits

Inflection AI values and supports our team’s mental, emotional, financial and physical health. We are focused on building a positive, safe, inclusive and inspiring place to work. Our benefits include:

  • Robust medical, dental and vision options with employer contributions for HSA, FSA and DFSA

  • Flexible Time Off, 10 paid holidays, 5 days sick leave
