 Your Role

As the Director of Product Marketing, you are a strategic, battle-tested leader who shapes how Vectra AI tells the modern network, modern attack story. You partner directly with senior leadership to set the strategic direction for our platform’s Clarity, Coverage, and Control pillars—and you convert complex technology, attacker tradecraft, and buyer needs into crisp narratives, differentiated positioning, and high-impact go-to-market strategies.

You will lead a high-performing team across multiple PMM functions and guide them through ambiguity. You’ll operate at the intersection of product, sales, marketing, research, and executive leadership to ensure every message, launch, and program advances our mission to deliver the most accurate attack signal at speed and scale.

Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Market Direction
  • Partner with senior executives to define Vectra AI’s long-term product marketing strategy, messaging architecture, and platform narrative.
  • Translate business strategy, market trends, segment and buyer research into actionable functional plans and GTM motions.
  • Own and evolve platform-level positioning for hybrid enterprise protection across network, identity, and cloud.
Product & Platform Go-to-Market
  • Lead end-to-end GTM planning for major platform launches and cross-product initiatives.
  • Create compelling messaging, content, and enablement for CISOs, architects, SOC leaders, and analysts.
  • Ensure absolute clarity and differentiation across all value stories, with consistent alignment to our core pillars.
Cross-Functional Influence
  • Serve as the PMM voice at the executive table—shaping decisions, anticipating challenges, and aligning stakeholders.
  • Build deep relationships with Product Management, Sales, Customer Success, and Demand to ensure cohesive execution.
  • Represent Vectra AI’s point of view with top customers, analysts, and media.
Team Leadership & Operational Excellence
  • Direct and mentor a team of product marketers; coach managers to lead effectively and build new PMM frameworks.
  • Drive operational rigor across planning cycles, content calendars, launches, and reporting.
  • Own PMM budgets and resource allocation to maximize revenue impact and strategic alignment.
Metrics and Performance

You will be measured on outcomes tied to Vectra AI’s strategic goals, including:

Market Leadership & Positioning
  • Increased adoption of Vectra AI across Network, Identity, and Cloud.
  • Strong analyst recognition and message consistency across categories.
Pipeline, Revenue & Expansion Impact
  • Contribution to pipeline, win rates, competitive gains, and expansion revenue.
  • Effective enablement that accelerates deal velocity and improves competitive performance.
Customer Engagement & Retention
  • Clear demonstration of platform value across Clarity, Coverage, and Control.
  • Increased cross-sell, upsell, and customer advocacy.
Team & Operational Performance
  • PMM execution excellence across launches, content, and alignment.
  • Team growth, retention, productivity, and leadership development.

Skills and Experience Experience
  • 5 –10+ years in cybersecurity or enterprise technology product marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven success defining strategy and GTM for complex, multi-product platforms.
  • Strong track record influencing senior executives and simplifying complex concepts for different audiences.
  • Experience leading product marketing teams through high-growth phases.
Skills & Competencies
  • Exceptional storyteller with deep knowledge of CISO, architect, and SOC buyer needs.
  • Expertise in competitive analysis, market segmentation, value proposition design, and messaging architecture.
  • Adept at orchestrating multi-stakeholder work and aligning cross-functional teams.
  • Strong operational skills in planning, prioritization, and execution.
Leadership DNA
  • Strategic thinker who anticipates market shifts and brings clarity to complex problems.
  • Direct, honest communicator grounded in customer-first thinking.
  • Protective of customer outcomes and committed to delivering measurable security value.
  • Confident, decisive leader comfortable making long-term strategic decisions.
