As the Director of Product, you will lead the strategy, execution, and adoption of ASAPP’s Core ML Platform and data tools, empowering data engineers, scientists, and developers across the company. You’ll define the vision, prioritize the roadmap, and deliver enterprise-grade innovation that accelerates ML development and creates measurable business impact.
What you'll do
- Own successful execution of the Core ML Platform area.
- Drive adoption of ML Platform data tools across diverse roles and business groups.
- Engage with a broad customer base to capture and prioritize requirements.
- Partner with platform teams to advance a shared vision for ML/AI acceleration.
- Define and track success metrics (adoption, productivity, business outcomes).
- Anticipate risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure product success.
- Conduct market and competitive analyses to inform product strategy.
- Communicate product progress and impact to executives and practitioners.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing to articulate product differentiation.
- Maintain and prioritize backlog to ensure focus on the highest-value work.
What you'll need
- 10+ years in technical product management, with significant leadership experience.
- Deep expertise in ML/AI development tools and platforms.
- Experience designing or managing products with voice interfaces, conversational AI, or other voice-enabled capabilities.
- Proven track record delivering and scaling complex enterprise products.
- Strong understanding of developer productivity and how to measure/improve it.
- Strategic thinker able to craft and drive a long-term vision.
- Demonstrated success in clarifying ambiguity and driving outcomes.
- Experience working closely with engineers, data scientists, and research teams.
- Skilled in balancing tradeoffs, driving decisions, and influencing stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills for executives, technical audiences, and customers.
- Ability to move seamlessly between high-level strategy and execution details.
- Ownership mindset with accountability, creativity, and analytical rigor.
- Cross-functional collaboration across engineering, design, research, product, TPM, and GTM.
