The Director of Sales will define sales strategy, manage a team, own revenue quotas, engage with healthcare decision-makers, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure sales success for Elixir EHR.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales Leadership & Execution
- Define and execute the go-to-market sales strategy for Elixir EHR
- Hire, develop, and manage a team of 2 Account Executives
- Establish sales processes, pipeline discipline, forecasting accuracy, and performance metrics
- Coach and mentor AEs on healthcare-specific selling, deal strategy, and closing execution
Quota & Revenue Ownership- Carry an individual quota of 20 new logos
- Own a team quota of 60 new logos and $2M in new ARR
- Drive predictable pipeline generation and consistent revenue growth
- Maintain accurate forecasts and communicate results to executive leadership
- Sell directly to healthcare decision-makers including practice administrators, CIOs, CMIOs, CFOs, and physician leaders
- Lead complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from discovery through close
- Position and sell the value of a Salesforce-native EHR platform compared to traditional EHR systems
- Represent Elixir EHR at industry conferences, events, and customer meetings
- Provide market, customer, and competitive insights to product and leadership teams
- Partner closely with Product, Marketing, Implementation, and Customer Success teams
- Ensure seamless transition from sales to implementation and long-term customer success
- Contribute to pricing, packaging, and competitive positioning strategies
Required Qualifications- 15+ years of sales experience, with significant experience in healthcare technology with 5+ yeas in EHR Sales
- Proven leadership experience selling EHR and Practice Management products
- Demonstrated success leading sales teams in healthcare SaaS organizations
- Strong hunter mindset with consistent new logo acquisition success
- Experience carrying both individual and team quotas
- Deep understanding of healthcare provider sales cycles and regulatory considerations
- Excellent executive-level communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Preferred Qualifications- Prior experience working with Salesforce (Salesforce ecosystem, platform selling, or Salesforce-based applications)
- Experience selling Salesforce-native healthcare or industry solutions
- Familiarity with ARR-based SaaS revenue models and metrics
- Experience selling to ambulatory practices, specialty clinics, or health systems
Remote Pay Range
$140,000—$150,000 USD
