We are looking for a Director of Sales Strategy and Operations to lead a team that partners with our Global Agency Development (GAD) and Advertising Intelligence & Activation teams. GAD focuses on partnerships among the largest six holding companies (Publicis, IPG, WPP, Omnicom, Dentsu & Havas) and their agencies.  The Advertising Intelligence & Activation teams are focused on building innovative measurement solutions for Reddit and driving adoption of our strategic product portfolio. This role will be instrumental in shaping and optimizing our revenue strategy, enabling our sales teams to maximize impact, and ensuring the long-term success of our Agency and sales support teams.  

Please note that this role is required to be based in either New York, NY or San Francisco, CA.

You will:

  • Collaborate with sales, sales finance, marketing, and other cross-functional stakeholders on strategic operational projects designed to increase sales productivity, operational efficiency, and revenue
  • Devise and recommend data-driven go-to-market strategies in close partnership with senior GAD leaders, sales, and cross-functional leaders
  • Build automation and scalability, optimize operational processes, and ensure seamless integration around data, systems, tools, and technology for tracking Agencies and Partners.  
  • Deliver strategic market insights including competitive landscape analysis to help formulate go to market approaches
  • Oversee the annual and quarterly planning processes, which include the development of the channel business plan, operating model, customer segmentation and resourcing 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and above
  • 10+ years relevant work experience in business operations
  • 7+ years of people management experience
  • Experience in agency and media partnerships
  • Experience working across multiple business units, especially sales and finance, influencing and collaborating with others to successfully implement programs
  • Previous management consulting experience (e.g. McKinsey, Bain, BCG, Accenture, Big Four firms, etc.) highly preferred
  • Working knowledge of sales systems and tools (e.g. SFDC)
  • Analytical thinker and structured problem solver
  • Extensive experience working with and presenting to SVP/VP and Director level stakeholders
  • Comfortable working in ambiguity

In addition to base salary, this job is eligible to receive equity in the form of restricted stock units, and depending on the position offered, it may also be eligible to receive a commission. We set standard base pay ranges for all roles based on function, level, and country location, benchmarked against similar stage growth companies. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including, skills, depth of work experience and relevant licenses/credentials, and may vary from the amounts listed below.

The base pay range for this position is:
$232,500$325,500 USD
