Position Summary

We are seeking a Director of Sales, US to lead institutional and enterprise client acquisition across the United States. This role will drive new business for Securitize’s marketplace and issuance platform — engaging with asset managers, private equity firms, fund administrators, and corporate issuers to bring high-quality private assets to the blockchain.

The ideal candidate is an experienced institutional salesperson who thrives in an entrepreneurial, high-growth fintech environment and can bridge the gap between traditional finance and digital asset innovation.

Business Development & Client Acquisition

  • Own revenue generation for Securitize’Markets’US business, focusing on institutional, corporate, and fund issuer clients.
  • Source and manage a pipeline of private market opportunities — including digital fund issuances, tokenized assets, and secondary listings.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies across product lines (Broker-Dealer, ATS, Transfer Agent).
  • Negotiate commercial agreements, pricing structures, and partnership terms with issuers and intermediaries.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with family offices, asset managers, investment banks, and private market participants.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients on digital asset structuring, issuance, and regulatory considerations.
  • Collaborate with Client Support and Operations teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and post-launch support.

Revenue Growth & Market Expansion

  • Partner with Marketing to drive thought leadership and outbound campaigns targeting private markets and alternative asset managers.
  • Identify new revenue opportunities through partnerships, product expansion, and distribution channels.
  • Deliver accurate forecasts, sales metrics, and client insights to the executive team.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Product, Legal, and Compliance to align client needs with regulatory requirements and platform capabilities.
  • Provide product feedback and market intelligence to influence roadmap priorities.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 8–12 years of institutional or enterprise sales experience in capital markets, fintech, or asset management.
  • Requisite FINRA Licensing (S7, S63, S24 & S79 at a minimum)
  • Deep understanding of private markets, alternative investments, or digital asset products.
  • Proven track record of originating and closing complex B2B or institutional deals.
  • Strong understanding of securities regulations (Reg D, Reg S, Reg A+, etc.).
  • Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling digital asset solutions (tokenization, custody, or blockchain-based platforms).
  • Strong network across asset managers, fund administrators, or investment banks.
  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree a plus.
