The NFL’s Club Business Development department (Club BD) supports the 32 clubs in delivering direct local value & optimization, best-in-class fan experiences via data-driven insights, and innovative fan and stadium enhancements and strategies, through direct club consulting, strategic analysis, and club benchmarking. In addition to working directly with the clubs, Club BD collaborates cross-functionally to support key strategic initiatives at the League level.
The Director, Strategy, Data & Analytics, will work across the Club BD department and cross-organizationally to drive and support club analytics across ticketing, sponsorship, premium sales, and tentpole event ticketing & sales strategy. The ideal candidate is a ‘swiss army knife’ who possesses a blend of strong technical expertise in data analysis and visualization, excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, the creativity to tell stories with data, a natural curiosity to explore what the data reveals beyond the obvious, the ability to anticipate club needs and the next question asked, and the soft skills necessary to communicate those insights to drive action. The position requires someone who is a passionate, results-driven problem solver who uses data, creativity, and collaboration to drive transformational results and who is energized by rolling up their sleeves. Candidates should be excited by a blend of independent work, collaboration, and ownership, partnering across teams without direct managerial responsibilities.
