Diamond Foundry Inc. is solving the thermal limitation at the foundation of today's most exciting tech industries -- AI & cloud compute, electric-car power electronics, and 5G/6G wireless. We have managed to produce the world's first single-crystal diamond wafers and are now on a mission to put a diamond behind every chip. We are the rare unicorn that has grown fast and profitably. We received $515m in funding and are executing a multi-$B expansion plan for one of the greenest forms of tech manufacturing: converting greenhouse gas into diamond wafers using zero-emission energy.

We are looking for a Director of Talent to architect and scale our next phase of growth by securing world-class engineering and specialized technical expertise. You will own the entire talent acquisition and retention lifecycle. You will be expected to take existing processes to the next level and define the talent vision for the company. While strategic, all managers are expected to be hands-on.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategically lead and execute the full cycle talent acquisition and retention cycle for high-priority, complex engineering and technical roles, from intake to closing.
  • Partner closely with engineering and operations leaders, acting as the trusted advisor to calibrate, define success criteria, and set the bar.
  • Implement scalable, best-in-class recruiting strategies, optimizing TA processes, assessment methodologies, and the end-to-end candidate experience.
  • Help mentor and actively develop a high-performing recruiting team in proactive sourcing, deep pipeline generation, and objective candidate evaluation.
  • Champion tool improvements by introducing AI-driven solutions and data analysis, driving efficiency without compromising quality.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of full-cycle tech recruiting with at least 4 years in managing and mentoring a team.
  • Proven track record in hiring complex technical roles in high-growth environments.
  • Proven ability to shape recruiting strategies, instilling a proactive talent culture.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to lead by influence.
  • Deep understanding of talent operations, including leveraging recruiting tools and analysis to drive data-informed decision-making.
