  • Monitor progress and outcomes of transformation initiatives, ensuring sustainable implementation.

Risk & Advisory

  • Act as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on accounting, operational, and strategic decisions.
  • Provide forward-looking insights on risks associated with growth, system implementations, and evolving business models.
  • Integrate risk and control considerations into enterprise decision-making while maintaining business agility.

  • Lead cross-functional alignment across Operations, IT, Legal, HR, and other functions to embed strong processes and controls.
  • Translate complex accounting and control concepts into actionable business insights.
  • Influence at all levels of the organization, driving accountability without direct authority.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement.

External Audit & Technical Reporting

  • Serve as the executive liaison with external auditors on all technical accounting matters.
  • Oversee the preparation and quality of technical accounting memos, analyses, and documentation.
  • Ensure a proactive, efficient, and well-coordinated audit process.

  • Continuously evolve processes, controls, and policies in alignment with business growth and complexity.
  • Build and scale the function  over time, including team structure, capabilities, and tools.
Qualifications

  • CPA required.
  • 12–15+ years of progressive experience in technical accounting, audit, or advisory roles, including senior leadership      experience.
  • Combination of public accounting and industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Deep expertise in U.S. GAAP with the ability to apply guidance pragmatically in a fast-paced environment.

  • Track record of building and developing teams and driving organizational change.
  • Highly self-directed, adaptable, and comfortable owning outcomes in an evolving environment.
  • Experience leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI), automation, and advanced analytics tools to enhance business processes,      improve operational efficiency, strengthen controls, and support data-driven decision-making is preferred.
