Role Summary

Renew Home is looking for a Director of Technical Program Management to improve and scale how we plan, execute, and deliver cross-functional initiatives across Product, Engineering, and Operations in a fast-growing B2B2C business. This leader will bring clarity to complexity, strengthen alignment across teams, and evolve the systems that help us deliver high-quality products with speed and consistency.

You’ll lead a TPM team, drive execution on high-impact programs, and refine the interfaces between Product/Engineering and Operations, ensuring work moves smoothly from strategy to build to launch.

What You Will Do

Scale planning and execution systems

  • Evolve and optimize operating rhythms across Product and Engineering (quarterly planning, roadmap reviews, delivery health).
  • Improve mechanisms for prioritization, sequencing, dependency management, and resource planning.
  • Increase visibility into execution through clear milestones, status reporting, risk management, and decision-making frameworks.

Lead and grow the TPM function

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of TPMs and/or program leaders.
  • Raise the bar on program planning, documentation, and cross-functional execution.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering leaders to improve predictability, speed, and quality of delivery.

Drive delivery of high-impact cross-functional programs

  • Clarify ownership boundaries and improve handoffs between Product, Engineering, and Ops teams.
  • Scale launch readiness processes, operational workflows, and escalation paths.
  • Own execution for multi-team initiatives spanning product engineering, platform, data, and operational workflows.
  • Improve delivery predictability by driving clear milestones, realistic sequencing, and disciplined scope management across teams.
  • Improve cross-team coordination by creating lightweight mechanisms for dependency tracking, handoffs, and decision-making.

Support a B2B2C operating model

  • Coordinate delivery across internal product teams and external stakeholder needs (partners, customers, field teams).
  • Ensure roadmap execution accounts for operational constraints and customer experience impacts.
  • Help teams balance speed and rigor as we scale across multiple user types and workflows.

Requirements
  • 10+ years experience in Technical Program Management, Product Operations, or Technical Delivery Leadership.
  • 3+ years leading TPMs and/or scaling program management in a growing organization.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership across Product + Engineering (and comfort working closely with Ops).
  • Track record of delivering multi-team, multi-quarter initiatives with clear business and customer outcomes.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and executive-level reporting.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and continuously improving systems without adding unnecessary process.
  • Solid technical fluency (able to partner effectively with engineering teams on scope, sequencing, and risk).
  • Strong product execution instincts (customer impact, roadmap delivery, launch readiness, adoption).
  • Familiarity with release management, incident/escalation workflows, and operational readiness.
  • Experience partnering with Customer Success, Sales & Support Teams.
  • Bonuses:
    • Experience in a B2B2C, marketplace, or operationally complex business.
    • Experience with consumer-facing software products and platform integrations.
    • Experience working in the energy industry is nice to have, but not required.

Benefits

What You'll Get

  • A full-time position, with a competitive salary based on experience. The base salary for this role is: $220k - $250k.
  • Fully remote work environment with home office set-up allowance.
  • Real and lived work-life balance - Company perks include no pre-set vacation limits (with a top-down culture of taking meaningful PTO every year!), parental leave benefits, and a corporate value of working sustainably and putting families first.
  • Competitive benefits package that includes numerous health and wellness benefits.
  • 401(k) plan, with employer contributions to the same.
  • Opportunity to work with amazing people who are passionate about their mission, thriving in a fully-remote work environment, and learning and growing every day.
