NVIDIA has been transforming computer graphics, PC gaming, and accelerated computing for more than 25 years. It’s a unique legacy of innovation that’s fueled by great technology—and amazing people. Today, we’re tapping into the unlimited potential of AI to define the next era of computing. An era in which our GPU acts as the brains of computers, robots, and self-driving cars that can understand the world. Doing what’s never been done before takes vision, innovation, and the world’s best talent.

We are looking for a Director of Technical Program Management (TPM) to guide strategy and implementation across extensive, complex software projects. This position involves developing and expanding a high-impact TPM team, promoting operational efficiency, and guaranteeing consistent delivery across various products and platforms. You will define how programs run at scale—introducing modern, technology-based (agentic) workflows, improving visibility and decision-making, and enabling teams to move faster with clarity and accountability. This is a high-impact role with influence across both Physical AI and Generative AI domains.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing TPM team; set expectations for ownership, velocity, and proactive execution.

  • Define and lead the implementation approach across a large engineering organization spanning multiple products and platforms.

  • Partner closely with engineering, product, and collaborators to align priorities and ensure successful delivery.

  • Build deep domain understanding of technologies and products; influence both technical direction and business outcomes.

  • Establish real-time, automated program visibility through dashboards powered by agentic workflows; ensure clear communication of status, risks, and dependencies.

  • Redefine TPM practices for the AI era: shift from manual tracking to automation, from reporting to decision enablement, and from coordination to execution leverage.

  • Develop and implement scalable program management frameworks that support rapid growth and growing technical complexity.

  • Define and track metrics and benchmarks to continuously improve execution quality, predictability, and efficiency.

  • Drive a culture of urgency, ownership, and continuous improvement across teams.

What we need to see:

  • 12+ overall years of experience, including 8+ years in technical leadership or TPM roles.

  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

  • Verified experience in forming and advancing TPM organizations across broad, matrixed frameworks.

  • Strong understanding of software development processes and the ability to manage multiple complex workstreams simultaneously.

  • Ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels, aligning collaborators and driving execution.

  • Demonstrated strength in risk management, problem-solving, and decision-making under ambiguity.

  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on transparency and clarity across complex organizations.

  • Experience leading Agile practices in large-scale software environments.

  • Hands-on experience with AI-powered developer tools or coding agents.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Background in AI/ML systems, deep learning, or large-scale data-driven products.

  • Familiarity with the AI model lifecycle, including training, fine-tuning, and evaluation.

  • Ability to contribute technically when needed, especially in Generative or Physical AI domains.

  • Experience transforming program management through automation or technology-enhanced workflows.

  • History of delivering large, complex programs with measurable business impact.
