THE WORK:

This scope includes identifying talent needs and strategies (succession planning, delivering proactive recruiting solutions, deploying innovative programs for diversity recruitment, and driving the team to deliver against dynamic hiring plans.

The Director of Technical Recruiting will report to the Global Head of Recruiting and manage our technical recruiting functions from a people, process, and tools perspective.
As a recruiting leader at Ripple, you will act as a strategic partner for leaders and managers across our technical business functions to identify talent needs, deliver proactive recruiting solutions, deploy innovative programs for diversity recruitment, and drive the team to deliver against dynamic hiring plans.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Attract, develop, and retain a strong, high-performing recruiting team that includes recruiting managers, leads and recruiters, sourcers, coordinators, and contractors of all levels and capabilities
  • Lead, manage, inspire, and mentor direct reports based on their individual needs and development paths
  • Develop and direct strategic recruiting initiatives and best practices that win top talent in very competitive US and international markets 
  • Provide expert strategy and guidance to our leaders and hiring managers to attract, select, onboard, and retain highly skilled, diverse candidates
  • Proactively communicate strategy updates and team productivity to leadership and hiring teams
  • Assess, revamp, and optimize existing processes, tools, systems, and resources needed to scale and support the recruiting team in the short and long-term
  • Be hands-on in owning senior roles and/or challenging open positions, as needed
  • Create a plan for proactively tracking and engaging top talent flagged for future hiring and identifying where they might fit at Ripple 
  • Deploy forecasting, reporting, and analytics rigor to track key recruiting and sourcing metrics and measure progress against team OKRs (objectives and key results)

WHAT YOU'LL BRING: 

  • You have at least 10 years of tech recruiting experience, with at least 3-4 years in a management role, for the most innovative technology companies
  • You are an authentic, inspiring, and hands-on leader with experience managing high-performing recruiting teams through hypergrowth
  • You bring the experience, track record, and reputation for successfully partnering with C-level executives, VPs, directors, and managers to make great hires and build great teams
  • You establish trusted relationships with your teams, clients, and colleagues at all levels, across multiple functions, and in all geographies
  • You are a beacon for the best recruiting team talent--they seek you out and will follow you anywhere
  • You have adaptable and superior communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation) at all levels (IC to Executive)
  • You have a strong bias for action and an inner drive that’s motivated by exceeding expectations 
  • You have the courage to take on difficult goals and bounce back from adversity in the face of challenges
  • You possess a penchant for seeking out new experiences, knowledge, and candid feedback and an openness to learning and change
  • You’re skilled at using data and analytics to develop insights and drive decisions
For positions that will be based in CA, the annual salary range for this position is below. Actual salaries may vary based on numerous factors including, among other things, an individual applicant’s experience and qualifications for the position. This range does not include equity or additional compensation, such as bonuses or commissions. 
CA Annual Base Salary Range
$216,000$243,000 USD
