About the role:
We are hiring a Distributor Relationship Account Executive to own and grow a portfolio of distributor partners. This is not a traditional SMB AE role and it is not a passive channel manager role. You are accountable for distributor revenue growth, distributor engagement and trust and making it easy for distributors to sell more Cents and Laundroworks products. You will sit at the intersection of Sales, Hardware Ops, Product, and Customer Success and act as the single-threaded owner for your distributor accounts. This role includes meaningful in-person time with partners, especially during industry show seasons.
What You'll Do:
Own Distributor Relationships
- Serve as the primary point of contact for a defined set of distributors
- Build trusted, long-term relationships with owners, sales reps, and install teams
- Spend time in the field with distributor teams to understand how they sell and install
- Act as the quarterback for all distributor needs across sales, hardware, and support
Drive Revenue Through the Channel
- Grow hardware, card, payments, and software revenue through distributors
- Support distributors at regional and national trade shows, open houses, and events
- Ensure distributors understand pricing, discount structures, and programs
- Support deal strategy, quoting, and closing when neededForecast distributor pipeline and bookings accurately
Enable Distributor Success
- Train distributor sales teams on Cents and Laundroworks products, both remotely and in person
- Roll out new products, programs, and incentives to the channelIdentify friction points and work cross-functionally to remove them
- Help distributors scale from ad hoc selling to a repeatable motion
Be the Voice of the Distributor
- Bring distributor feedback back to Product, Ops, and Leadership
- Surface systemic issues early before they become escalations
- Advocate for distributor needs while protecting Cents standards and economics
Operate Like an Owner
- Track performance against clear KPIs (bookings, attach rates, activation, growth)
- Maintain clean CRM data and distributor account plans.
- Proactively manage risk, churn, and underperforming partners
About you:
- 2-5+ years in sales, channel sales, or strategic account management
- Experience working with distributors, resellers, or indirect sales channels
- Comfortable managing complex, multi-threaded relationshipsEnjoy being in the field and building relationships in person
- Highly organized, proactive, and data-driven
- Strong communicator who can be firm, fair, and clear
- Laundry industry experience is a plus but not required. Grit, judgment, and ownership are.
Travel Expectations:
- Regular travel during spring and fall laundry industry show seasons
- Attendance at major trade shows, distributor open houses, and partner events
- Periodic on-site visits with key distributor partners throughout the year
- Travel is a feature of the role, not a burden. Face-to-face time is how trust is built in this channel.
