Job Description

The Divisional Vice President (DVP) Microsoft Channel Sales is responsible for expanding insightsoftware's routes to market through Microsoft's certified partners. Your role will involve growing our existing resellers, as well as recruiting and activating new Microsoft partners to sell and implement insightsoftware's solutions. The DVP will lead a team of channel managers, and will be intimately involved in the development and execution of our partner activation and joint go-to-market (GTM) plans with each strategic Microsoft channel. You will report to the VP of Global Alliances & Partnerships. This is a remote opportunity.

Responsibilities:

  • Meet or exceed the agreed revenue bookings goals with our Microsoft channels. This is the most critical KPI for this role.
  • Aggressively grow our existing Microsoft channel revenues by better enabling partners' salesforce, flawlessly executing joint GTM plans, and systematically activating additional Microsoft-complementing solutions.
  • Recruit and activate new Microsoft partners whose business priorities are closely aligned with insightsoftware's revenue and GTM strategies.
  • With each strategic partner, determine the best collaboration model to drive win-win outcomes and execute joint action plans focused on shared pipeline & revenue generation.
  • Lead by example in the trenches. Model the way for the team of Microsoft Channel Managers and take full ownership of each channel manager achieving his/her revenue bookings goal.
  • Using a variety of BI tools, analyze and report on the progress of each strategic partner, as well as the health of our Microsoft partner ecosystem as a whole. Then conduct internal & external business review sessions (monthly and quarterly) to drive performance improvements.
  • Travel as needed (up to 40%) to build and accelerate momentum with our top-tier Microsoft channels.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in leading and expanding revenue-focused partnerships, with a track record of consistently achieving shared revenue goals
  • Minimum 4 years of people management experience, effectively leading and growing a team of channel sales managers or sales reps
  • Proven track record of recruiting, activating and scaling new sales channels for SaaS solutions
  • Experience forging revenue-oriented partnerships within the Microsoft ecosystem
  • Strong strategic planning and business analytics skills, with a demonstrated ability to develop and manage win-win collaboration models that produce sustainable shared revenue growth
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree
  • The ideal candidate should exhibit insightsoftware's core values, i.e. results orientation, winning attitude, being one team, disciplined execution, and growth mindset.
