Join our Team as a DMS SENIOR IT APPLICATION DEVELOPER!

 

The Role:

We’re seeking a passionate and dedicated DMS Senior IT Application Developer to join our team. This position is responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and supporting enterprise applications that enable the Dealer Management System (DMS) and support the TMHNA dealer network. This role leads the delivery of custom software solutions throughout the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), partnering with business stakeholders, product teams, and technical resources to develop secure, scalable, and high-performing applications that enhance dealer operations and business performance.

 

The Senior Application Developer provides technical leadership in application architecture, solution design, and development while producing technical documentation, system designs, and workflow diagrams to support business understanding. This role mentors developers, establishes and promotes development standards and best practices, and serves as the technical lead on complex projects. Responsibilities also include supporting production applications through troubleshooting, debugging, performance monitoring, and system administration activities, while collaborating across multiple departments to deliver reliable technology solutions that meet the evolving needs of the dealer network and the organization.

 

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Design, develop, enhance, and maintain Microsoft Dynamics BC and CE applications and related solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Deliver business-critical and highly complex development requests with a focus on quality, efficiency, and low defect rates.
  • Manage multiple assignments and customer priorities simultaneously while meeting established deadlines.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to analyze requirements and develop technical solutions that address business needs.
  • Drive innovation by identifying, recommending, and implementing new technologies, tools, and solution approaches.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for Microsoft Dynamics BC and CE development, including associated business processes, workflows, and system integrations.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members to resolve complex development and application issues.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders with varying technical backgrounds and skill levels.
  • Develop and execute advanced testing strategies, methodologies, and test cases to ensure solution quality and reliability.
  • Apply advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis techniques to diagnose and resolve application issues.
  • Prepare accurate effort estimates and technical assessments for large-scale enhancements, projects, and system changes.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development standards, coding practices, system documentation, and software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes.
  • Review and provide feedback on business requirements, technical specifications, and documentation to ensure completeness, accuracy, and feasibility prior to development.
  • Communicate project status, technical recommendations, risks, and alternative solutions to leadership, business stakeholders, and executive audiences.
  • Ensure applications are designed, developed, and tested using best practices for performance, scalability, reliability, maintainability, and security.
  • Evaluate current and future business needs and implement solutions that align with organizational objectives and technology strategies.
  • Assess, develop, implement, and maintain application security controls and security best practices.
  • Protect company data and systems by maintaining enterprise-level security standards and prioritizing remediation of vulnerabilities and high-risk applications.
  • Mentor and provide technical leadership to less experienced developers through knowledge sharing, code reviews, and professional development guidance.
  • Perform all duties in compliance with company safety policies and maintain a consistent focus on safe work practices.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a software related field preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics BC/CE development.
  • Integration experience.
  • BC Developer: proficient with AL, extension development.
  • CE Developer: proficient with MSFT Power Platform, Mobile Development, CE (Specifically Field Service), Offline development. JavaScript, C#. Plugin development.
  • Functional knowledge of BC/CE is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

What Your Total Compensation & Benefits Package will look like:

Salary - $118,590 - $152,040 per year.  Compensation offered will be determined by the successful candidate’s background, education & experience.
