The Domo Developer will design and implement data analytics solutions using Domo, Power BI, SQL, and Snowflake, lead a team, and optimize data models and dashboards.

As a Domo Developer with expertise in Power BI, SQL, and Snowflake, you will play a crucial role in our data-driven decision-making process. This individual will be responsible for the design and implementation of the data analytics platform to support business operations and management. The candidate will work closely with the solution architect and data architect to implement a high-performing data platform that fulfills the requirements of the business. They will lead a team of developers through the implementation, deployment, and enhancement of analytics solutions. Your technical proficiency in Domo, Power BI, SQL, and Snowflake will be vital in transforming complex data into actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support the Analytics solution in Power Bi development and solution delivery
• Translate functional specifications and business requirements into architectural designs that include complex data models and front-end visualizations
• Propose and implement potential improvements for existing dashboards
• Maintain data models and transformation rules
• Select appropriated technology components to realize solution designs
• Anticipate future analytics needs in solution designs and reference architecture
• Ensure accurate and up-to-date project and solution life cycle documentation
• Develop interactive and visually appealing dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Domo and Power BI.
• Utilize your expertise in data visualization best practices to present complex data in a clear and understandable manner.
• Leverage SQL and Snowflake to retrieve, transform, and integrate data from various sources into meaningful datasets for analysis.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability by applying appropriate data cleansing and validation techniques.
• Optimize queries, data models, and dashboards for improved performance and responsiveness.
• Implement data governance standards and best practices to maintain data integrity and security.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their analytical needs and provide guidance on utilizing Domo and Power BI effectively.
Requirements
• 3+ years working with the Domo platform, including data modeling, ETL development, and dashboard creation.
• 5+ years of experience with data reporting and visualization tools
• 3+ years of experience with Power BI and Power BI cloud services solution design experience
• 2+ years of experience with Power BI on Snowflake
• Advanced knowledge of Power Query and DAX
• Solid understanding of Data Vault 2.0 methodology and data models
• Solid understanding of Kimball design methodology and data models
• Experience with Power Automate and Power Apps
• Experience with Power BI Direct Query, Import, and hybrid
• Experience with Power BI performance testing and tuning
• Proven experience in developing interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Domo and Power BI.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for querying, data manipulation, and performance optimization.
• Experience working with Snowflake data warehousing platform.
• Familiarity with data modeling concepts and techniques.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Relevant certifications in Domo, Power BI, Snowflake, or related technologies are advantageous.
