About Tava Health

At Tava Health, we believe mental health care should be as accessible and stigma-free as a checkup. We're reimagining the entire experience: from how people find a therapist and/or psychiatrist, to how providers deliver care, so more individuals can get the support they need, when they need it.

We’re a fast-growing team on a bold mission: to make high-quality mental health care available to everyone. If you’re passionate about using technology to solve meaningful problems and create lasting change, we’d love to meet you.

About the Role

Tava Health is seeking a Director of Strategic Payer Growth to join its Partnerships team. This role focuses on leading strategic partnerships with health plans and driving growth through the activation of existing partnerships, business development, and cross-selling. It is a highly external-facing position that requires strong executive presence and a mission-driven mindset. The role reports to the Head of Health Plans and Partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a deep understanding of Tava Health’s products and services and effectively communicate the value proposition to partners.

  • Develop and execute growth strategies targeting payer organizations, health systems, and TPAs.

  • Initiate and foster executive-level relationships at managed care organizations, health systems, and TPAs.

  • Drive activations and expansions at partner organizations, with accountability for top-line bookings.

  • Negotiate and finalize partnership agreements that align with Tava Health’s objectives and ensure mutually beneficial outcomes.

  • Serve as a thought leader and advocate for Tava Health within the mental health industry, representing the company at conferences, events, and industry forums.

  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new partnership opportunities and stay ahead of industry developments.

  • Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product, and operations, to ensure the successful implementation and execution of partnership initiatives.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in consultative sales or strategic partnerships within healthcare.

  • Self-motivated, organized, and energized by working on a mission-driven team.

  • Proven track record in population health, value-based care, clinical quality, and growth initiatives within progressive healthcare organizations.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage senior-level stakeholders.

  • Experience managing complex, multi-million-dollar enterprise sales with long sales cycles and diverse stakeholders.

  • Strong knowledge of managed care and provider markets, including payers and risk-bearing organizations.

  • Passion for healthcare and value-based care.

  • Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced, and collaborative environment.

Why You’ll Love Working at Tava

  • Competitive salary, commissions, and stock options

  • Free Tava mental health benefit for you and your family

  • Medical and dental insurance for you and your dependents

  • Monthly HSA contributions

  • Generous PTO and paid holidays

  • Paid parental leave

  • Work-from-home flexibility

  • Weekly team lunches

  • Opportunity to help shape a growing company and culture
