The Position

Our organization, as part of PT strategy (PTY) is responsible for the definition of our future state PT strategy to support and enable our Pharma Vision. We activate and catalyze this through a series of programs at the enterprise level. Our leaders sit between development, manufacturing, supply chain and commercial global functions and markets, providing a unique view to the full industrialization and commercialization requirements of our portfolio and in doing so shape and define our future manufacturing network strategy. Through leadership and partnerships, we ensure that we robustly enable objective, data driven, hypothesis, analysis and recommendations to senior leadership on strategic network choices.

The Opportunity
  • Designing, orchestrating and ensuring deployment of the PT Network Strategy for your assigned area of responsibility.

  • Integrating portfolio insights, pipeline trends, external trends and technology strategy to shape the manufacturing network.

  • Mentoring an internal team in performing robust and objective analysis of key manufacturing strategies.

  • Framing strategic choices to drive efficient decision-making regarding capability, capacity and configuration with senior leaders.

  • Managing strategy deployment decisions, including asset investment, asset lifecycle and long-range capacity management.

  • Developing resilience strategies and portfolio sourcing recommendations.

  • Collaborating with various levels in the organization including the PT leadership team and all PT stakeholder groups.

  • Leading and collaborating within a matrix organization to deliver integrated and robust design framing for long-term investments.

  • Shaping investment decisions through systems thinking and analytical excellence.

Who you are

You are an exceptional leader with outstanding collaboration and communication skills. You possess strong analytical and systems thinking abilities, allowing you to frame complex choices effectively. You are self-driven, able to focus on key drivers and capable of influencing stakeholders at all management levels without formal authority.

Furthermore, you possess the following qualifications and experience:

  • BS/MS Degree, preferably in life sciences, engineering or business disciplines. 

  • 12-15 or more years of related professional experience, ideally gained within the pharmaceutical industry. 

  • Demonstrated capability in options framing and strategic analysis.

  • Proven experience in storytelling to convey complex analysis to senior leadership.

  • Excellent written and oral presentation skills with the ability to communicate confidently.
