Job Title: E-commerce Solutions Specialist

Reports to: Director, Strategic Operations

Hiring Range: $80,000.00 - $105,000.00


Job Summary: As an E-Commerce Solutions Specialist at Whitestone, you’ll be part of the Technology team within Operations, serving as a critical partner to Sales and internal departments. Your primary focus will be leading the design and implementation of non-traditional, tech-enabled e-commerce and fulfillment programs for our enterprise clients. This role blends client-facing consultation with internal execution, translating complex requirements into scalable platform solutions using tools like Liftoff, Shopify, commonsku, Zapier, and AI. You’ll guide projects from discovery to launch, ensuring smooth handoffs, process clarity, and cross-functional alignment every step of the way.

  • Solution Design & Technical Acumen: Ability to assess client needs and architect tailored solutions across e-commerce, logistics, and fulfillment platforms.
  • Client Engagement & Communication: Confident communicator who can simplify technical concepts for enterprise stakeholders and foster trust.
  • Project & Program Management: Skilled in timelines, task delegation, and stakeholder coordination; brings structure to complexity.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Works fluidly with Sales, Finance, Production, Creative, and Technology teams.
  • Continuous Improvement & Customer Success: Identifies process gaps and implements scalable enhancements with long-term value in mind.


Essential Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Sales on client discovery sessions, translating business needs into scalable technical and operational solutions
  • Design complex e-commerce workflows and fulfillment programs, customizing platform logic using third-party tools and automation layers
  • Serve as the internal lead during the pre-sale and implementation phases, bridging technical and non-technical teams
  • Draft detailed Statements of Work (SOWs) outlining platform configurations, customizations, integration points, timelines, and resourcing
  • Deliver tailored platform demos and walkthroughs, ensuring client understanding of both functionality and limitations
  • Lead internal project teams post-sale to execute builds, configurations, and automated workflows across departments
  • Assign tasks and manage progress with internal resources, including tech admins and web developers
  • Troubleshoot implementation roadblocks and proactively manage escalations to ensure timely, high-quality delivery
  • Coordinate a smooth transition of accounts to Account Management, ensuring documentation and process continuity
  • Support cross-functional team development by contributing to process playbooks and onboarding documentation
  • Conduct post-launch reviews and stakeholder check-ins, capturing feedback and proposing future enhancements


Minimum Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in customer success, solutions engineering, technical sales, or project management within e-commerce, logistics, or SaaS-driven environments
  • Strong technical knowledge of e-commerce platforms, order management systems, 3PL integrations, and API-based workflows
  • Comfortable designing solutions using automation and integration tools such as Zapier, Make, n8n and other no-code/low-code/AI platforms
  • Experience managing complex implementations with multiple stakeholders and tight timelines
  • Ability to juggle multiple enterprise projects while ensuring smooth execution and communication
  • Experience in the promotional products or branded merchandise industry is a strong plusExperience with project management tools (Asana, or similar tool) 
  • Ability to operate in a remote work environment with strong, reliable internet access

Variable Compensation: In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible to participate in the respective variable compensation plan associated with the role.
