About the role

Everway seeks expert Educational Consultants to deliver high-quality professional learning experiences that help educators implement Everway solutions with confidence and impact.  As an Educational Consultant, you are responsible for planning, delivering, and preparing professional learning experiences and job embedded coaching using research-based instructional strategies supported by our solutions and messaging that resonate with educators.

The highest volume of work typically occurs during the back-to-school season from late July through mid-September. Assignments may also occur throughout the year, and consultants may be asked to conduct sessions outside the peak season.

Sessions may include virtual delivery, in-person delivery, short sessions, full-day sessions, preparation time, follow-up tasks, and related administrative responsibilities.

This is an annual contractor role and does not guarantee a fixed number of assignments or hours. This role requires consultants to be located within the assigned territory Puerto Rico, Hawaii, California, Texas, and Nationwide to enable effective onsite delivery and regional support.

Main Responsibilities:

Client Relationships and Satisfaction
  • Anticipate client needs before and during professional learning engagements, adjusting delivery approach to match participant roles, experience levels, implementation context, and stated goals.
  • Build strong advocacy for Everway solutions by connecting professional learning to practical classroom outcomes and demonstrating the instructional value of the solutions.
  • Create supportive, responsive learning environments that strengthen long-term client confidence in Everway services.
  • Consistently distribute end-of-session surveys and maintain strong satisfaction outcomes, with a target CSAT of 95% or higher across delivery types.
  • Share meaningful implementation insights with Everway customer success, sales, product learning, and professional services partners when appropriate.
Professional Learning Delivery
  •  Deliver engaging, high-quality sessions aligned to the Everway delivery framework and provided delivery assets, making purposeful adjustments that enhance participant learning.
  • Adapt delivery seamlessly across formats, including virtual sessions, in-person sessions, short sessions, and full-day professional learning experiences.
  • Use adult learning principles, collaborative learning strategies, and real-world application activities to promote active participation and implementation planning.
  • Adjust facilitation strategies in real time based on participant needs, group dynamics, audience roles, and engagement levels to maintain learning outcomes.
  •  Model expert facilitation and presentation practices, including clear pacing, purposeful interaction, effective discussion, and responsive questioning.
  • Explain and apply the Explore-Observe-Implement framework in ways that guide educators toward practical, role-specific implementation.
Product Knowledge and Implementation Guidance
  • Serve as a trusted product resource by demonstrating deep knowledge of Everway solutions, implementation pathways, and classroom applications.
  • Accurately explain solution features, benefits, and instructional applications, and answer participant questions clearly during live sessions.
  •  Share advanced strategies, best practices, and actionable implementation recommendations tailored to participant roles and environments.
  •  Help educators connect Everway tools and resources to classroom goals, student needs, instructional planning, data use, and ongoing implementation routines.
  • Collaborate with internal Everway teams by sharing relevant product questions, implementation trends, client insights, and opportunities for continued support.
Resource Management and Administrative Responsibilities
  •  Maintain accurate availability and respond promptly to appropriate delivery opportunities, especially during the high-volume back-to-school season.
  • Prepare thoroughly for assigned sessions by reviewing materials, client context, delivery expectations, and any provided planning notes.
  • Complete required documentation, session follow-up, survey distribution, invoicing, and administrative tasks accurately and on time.
  •  Communicate professionally and reliably with Everway team members and client contacts before, during, and after engagements.
  • Uphold Everway expectations for confidentiality, professionalism, timeliness, and quality across all contractor assignments.

Essential Criteria

  •  Experience delivering professional learning, training, coaching, or implementation support to educators or related professional audiences.
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills across virtual and/or in-person formats.
  • Ability to prepare for sessions, use provided delivery assets, and make purposeful adjustments that improve participant learning without compromising session goals.
  • Clear understanding of adult learning principles and ability to create an interactive, supportive learning environment.
  • Ability to communicate solution value, instructional purpose, and implementation next steps clearly to participants.
  •  Professional responsiveness, reliability, and organization, including timely completion of administrative tasks and documentation.
  •  Availability for higher work volume during the late July through mid-September back-to-school season, with flexibility for year-round session opportunities.
  •  Comfort learning and maintaining knowledge of Everway products, services, delivery frameworks, and implementation expectations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.

Desirable Criteria

  • Advanced knowledge of Everway solutions with a particular focus on Unique Learning Systems.
  • Experience supporting educators with implementation planning, classroom application, data use, instructional routines, or change management.
  • Experience collaborating with customer success, sales, product, or professional services teams to support client outcomes.
  • Strong classroom, district, coaching, leadership, or special education background relevant to Everway customers.
  • For consultants supporting Puerto Rico: Advanced knowledge of Everway solutions, particularly Read&Write, is highly desirable.
