KATBOTZ LLC is seeking a EDW Business Reporting Analyst to join our team for a client-side project. Candidates should have a strong background in SQL and Tableau, with a focus on delivering actionable insights through enterprise data warehouse (EDW) reporting solutions. This role requires a blend of technical skills, analytical thinking, and stakeholder management to drive business decisions through effective data visualisation and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level dashboards and reports using Tableau to support business decision-making
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis from various data sources
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Implement data quality measures and perform regular audits to ensure data accuracy and reliability
- Provide documentation and training for end-users on report usage and data interpretation
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- Expertise with 10+ years of experience in Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) reporting and analytics using SQL and Tableau
- Strong understanding of data warehouse concepts and dimensional modelling
- Strong background in developing and maintaining complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and ETL processes
- Hands-on experience in creating interactive Tableau dashboards and visualisation
- Experience in data modelling, optimization, and performance tuning
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Tableau Desktop Specialist or Tableau Desktop Certified Professional certification
- Experience with SAP HANA and EDW
- Advanced SQL skills including performance tuning and optimization
- Knowledge of data visualisation best practices and user experience design
- Experience in working with large-scale data warehouses
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Experience in Agile development methodologies
- Knowledge of data governance and security principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
