Job Description

AECOM is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern to be based in Orange, CA.

This position is expected to begin in Spring/Summer 2026.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Performs a variety of assignments designed to develop professional work knowledge and abilities, requiring application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out tasks.
  • Limited exercise of judgment is required on details of work and in making preliminary selections and adaptations of science alternatives.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Candidates must be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Construction/Architecture and/or related fields and must have completed at least 3 years of study. Candidates who have graduated with a Bachelor’s degree and plan to continue with the Master’s degree are eligible to apply for these positions. Graduates must have been enrolled in their bachelor’s degree in the most previous school term with an interest in pursuing an advanced degree in the same or similar discipline at the conclusion of the internship.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Assist in the production of all phases of the design process; assist in pursuits and proposals, generation of design documents, construction administration, and close out.
  • Prior internship experience, with general knowledge of electrical drawings.
  • Knowledge of Revit.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft office.
  • Well organized and possesses an entrepreneurial and innovative mindset.
