At Relativity Space, we’re building rockets to serve today’s needs and tomorrow’s breakthroughs. Our Terran R vehicle will deliver customer payloads to orbit, meeting the growing demand for launch capacity. But that’s just the start. Achieving commercial success with Terran R will unlock new opportunities to advance science, exploration, and innovation, pioneering progress that reaches beyond the known.

Joining Relativity means becoming part of something where autonomy, ownership, and impact exist at every level. Here, you're not just executing tasks; you're solving problems that haven’t been solved before, helping develop a rocket, a factory, and a business from the ground up. Whether you’re in propulsion, manufacturing, software, avionics, or a corporate function, you’ll collaborate across teams, shape decisions, and see your work come to life in record time. Relativity is a place where creativity and technical rigor go hand in hand, and your voice will help define the stories we’re writing together. Now is a unique moment in time where it’s early enough to leave your mark on the product, the process, and the culture, but far enough along that Terran R is tangible and picking up momentum. The most meaningful work of your career is waiting. Join us.

About the Team:

The Facilities team ensures that every operation across the site is “go” at all times, supporting everything from power and utilities to highly specialized machines like industrial 3D printers. Our 1 million square foot headquarters is complex: one structure, but functionally 20 mini factories under one roof. That complexity brings unmatched opportunities to grow your skills through cross-training and ownership of specialized systems. With rapid expansion and development of the facility, we’re helping build a truly state-of-the-art work environment. This team is deeply embedded in both planning and execution, brought in early to shape the physical assets that will support scaled operations.

About the Role:

  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical circuits, lighting, motors, controls, and equipment supporting manufacturing, office, laboratory, and facility operations.

  • Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on electrical systems and equipment, identifying unsafe or abnormal conditions.

  • Assist with installation, modification, and maintenance of electrical distribution equipment, conduit, wiring, and connections for new machinery and facility projects.

  • Support maintenance of generators, uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems, and electrical components associated with HVAC equipment, pumps, and other facility systems.

  • Complete and prioritize electrical work requests in JIRA, document repairs and follow-up needs, and coordinate with Facilities, Engineering, Operations, and contractors.

  • Follow electrical safety, lockout/tagout, and applicable OSHA and site requirements while performing work that may involve lifting and handling up to 50 pounds, working at heights or on ladders, and squatting, stooping, or kneeling with a tool belt.

About You:

  • Electrical trade school or technical training.

  • 3+ years of hands-on electrical experience in facilities maintenance, industrial maintenance, construction, or a related environment.

  • Experience with electrical distribution systems, motors, variable frequency drives (VFDs), controls, transformers, and generators.

  • Experience working with 120V, 208V, 240V, 277V, 400V, and 480V systems.

  • Ability to read electrical drawings, schematics, equipment manuals, and single-line diagrams and use hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment.

  • Knowledge of electrical safety, lockout/tagout, and energized-work procedures.
