Why RocketReach

More than 26 million users around the world use RocketReach including some of the largest companies in the world like Apple, Google, Amazon, Adobe, Morgan Stanley, trust RocketReach to power their sales, recruitment, and marketing teams.

RocketReach is rare and unique: a startup in high-growth mode, already highly profitable, with a small team where you can make a gigantic impact. Founded in 2015 and bootstrapped from day one, we've grown organically to become one of the largest business info-services platforms and the de-facto productivity solution for sales and recruitment teams at companies of all sizes, worldwide.

The Role

RocketReach is in a period of rapid growth and we're looking for an Email & Growth Marketing Manager to join our expanding Marketing team. If you're a builder, experimenter, and data-driven operator, this role is for you.

You'll own the full email and lifecycle marketing function,  from lead nurture to activation, conversion, and retention. You'll work closely with Product, Product Marketing, Business Operations, Customer Success to design programs that move users from curious to activated to loyal, and you'll use AI tools and automation to do it at speed and scale.

The salary range for this role is $150-175k.

Who You Are

  • You're user-obsessed, you think in lifecycles, not campaigns, staying invested in the user journey from first email to power user and using behavioral signals to make every touchpoint feel relevant
  • You use AI tools as a force multiplier across copywriting, segmentation, testing, and workflow automation
  • You're energized by ambiguity and iteration; you're scrappy and analytical, running experiments and finding the patterns that others miss
  • You lead with the customer's problem, not the product's features. You write emails that make people feel understood before you ask them to do anything
  • You partner well cross-functionally with Business, Sales and Marketing Operations teams to accelerate shared outcomes

What You'll Do

Lifecycle & Email Strategy

  • Own end-to-end email and lifecycle strategy, from acquisition nurture to onboarding, conversion, and retention, mapping the full user journey and designing programs that meet users with the right message at the right moment
  • Build and maintain a testing roadmap that continuously improves open rates, click-through, conversion, and retention metrics

Onboarding, Activation & Conversion

  • Partner with Product and Customer Success to design onboarding sequences that guide users to their first 'aha moment' fast, using segmented, behavior-triggered flows that adapt to how users are (or aren't) engaging
  • Develop campaigns that convert freemium users to paid — grounded in understanding what makes users upgrade, not just when — and build re-engagement programs that reduce churn and surface expansion opportunities

Content & Campaign Creation

  • Write and produce campaign content that makes users feel understood before it asks them to act. Emails, nurture sequences, in-app messaging, and landing pages that balance brand voice with conversion intent
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing to ensure campaign messaging reflects current positioning and tells a coherent story across the user lifecycle

AI-Powered Execution

  • Leverage AI tools to write, test, and personalize at scale — faster copy iteration, smarter segmentation, and more responsive automation — while maintaining the bar for quality and brand voice

Performance & Insights

  • Track and report on key metrics including deliverability, engagement, activation, trial-to-paid conversion, and LTV. Translate data into clear hypotheses, run structured experiments, and share learnings cross-functionally to sharpen Product, Sales, and PMM strategies
  • Work closely with Marketing Operations, Sales Operations and Business Operations teams on execution, infrastructure investments, and insights.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years in email marketing, lifecycle marketing, or growth marketing in a SaaS environment
  • Hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, Braze, Iterable, Marketo, or similar)
  • Strong grasp of PLG, freemium-to-paid conversion, and B2B subscription dynamics
  • Active user of AI tools in a marketing or content workflow
  • Analytical chops: comfortable in data, able to build your own reports, and skilled at turning numbers into narrative
  • Excellent writer that can craft an email that feels human, urgent, and relevant without being pushy
  • A bias for experimentation: you run tests, track outcomes, and iterate without waiting for permission
  • Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously, build process where little exists, and thrive in a fast-moving environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field preferred
