Email & Lifecycle Marketing Specialist

Company: Rove Next, by Rove Concepts
Location: Remote. Open across the Americas and Europe.
Hours: Full-time overlap with Pacific or Eastern time. This is a requirement, not a preference.
Type: Independent contractor, full time
Apply: [email protected]

About the role

Rove Next is a new premium line from Rove Concepts, a Vancouver-based modern furniture brand selling direct to consumer across Canada and the US. Rove Next launches with improved versions of our best-selling pieces, and it needs its own marketing built from the ground up.

We're looking for an Email & Lifecycle Marketing Specialist to help execute and optimize the customer journey from first interaction through repeat purchase. You'll own the day-to-day execution of email campaigns and automated flows while helping us build a lifecycle marketing engine that scales through AI, automation, and strong operational discipline.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys building, testing, improving, and shipping high-quality work.

Scope

Initially focused on Rove Next, with room to expand across the Rove Concepts group as the brand grows.

What you'll own

Email campaign execution from planning through deployment using Klaviyo.

Building, maintaining, and optimizing automated customer journeys including welcome, abandoned cart, browse abandonment, post-purchase, win-back, and retention flows.

Customer segmentation to deliver personalized marketing experiences.

Campaign QA including copy, links, layouts, dynamic content, and scheduling to ensure every send is accurate before launch.

Working closely with our creative, e-commerce, and marketing teams to support launches, promotions, and seasonal campaigns.

Running A/B tests and analyzing campaign performance to continuously improve engagement, conversions, and customer retention.

Maintaining email calendars and ensuring projects are delivered on time.

Using AI tools to improve workflows, content creation, and campaign execution wherever practical.

Must-haves

Two or more years of experience in email marketing, CRM, or lifecycle marketing within an e-commerce or DTC business.

Experience with Klaviyo or a comparable email marketing platform.

Strong understanding of customer segmentation, marketing automation, and lifecycle campaigns.

Excellent attention to detail with the ability to catch issues before campaigns are deployed.

Fluent, native-level English, written and spoken. You will be writing customer-facing copy under our brand.

Comfortable working independently, managing multiple campaigns, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

Furniture, home, or another considered-purchase category with a longer buying cycle.

Experience with Shopify, GA4, HTML for email editing, or AI-powered marketing workflows.

What success looks like

Email campaigns are delivered accurately and on schedule with minimal revisions.

Lifecycle flows continue to improve customer engagement, retention, and repeat purchases.

Campaign reporting leads to measurable improvements through testing and optimization.

AI becomes part of your daily workflow to improve speed, quality, and efficiency.

How to apply

Send your CV to [email protected].

In a few lines, tell us:

  • One email or lifecycle campaign you're most proud of and the results it achieved.
  • One AI tool or workflow you use regularly to improve your work.

Please also include a short voice note (around 60 seconds) introducing yourself and telling us why you'd be a good fit for this role.

Shortlisted candidates will be asked to complete a short paid project.
