Replit is building the future of software creation—where anyone, anywhere can turn ideas into apps. We’re a small, fast-moving team redefining how people build and collaborate on software.
We care deeply about craft—not just in our product, but in how we show up for each other every day. Our workplace should feel like an extension of that philosophy: thoughtful, high-quality, and built for creators.

About the Role

We’re looking for an Workplace Experience Lead who thinks like a host, operates like a founder, and sweats the details.
This role owns the in-office experience end-to-end—from how the space feels when you walk in, to the quality of coffee, to the energy during lunch and events. You’ll design an environment that supports deep work, spontaneous collaboration, and meaningful shared moments.
Events are a core part of how we build culture at Replit—from team lunches to launches, offsites, and community moments. You’ll treat these experiences like a product: intentional, well-executed, and continuously improving.
Food, snacks, and beverages are not an afterthought—they’re part of how we bring people together. This is a hands-on role for someone with startup experience who can build systems from scratch while keeping quality high.

  • Act as the day-to-day host of the office—setting the tone, energy, and standards

  • Continuously gather feedback and iterate quickly to improve the in-office experience

  • Partner with Workplace Leadership and internal teams to align the workplace with how Replit works best

Lead Events & Experiences

  • Own the planning and execution of internal events (team lunches, demos, launches, offsites)

  • Design experiences that bring builders together and strengthen culture

  • Introduce new, creative event formats and continuously raise the bar on quality

  • Ensure events feel seamless, intentional, and reflective of Replit’s brand

Build & Run a Best-in-Class Food Program

  • Own the full food and beverage experience: meals, snacks, coffee, and everything in between

  • Curate offerings that are high-quality, diverse, and genuinely exciting

  • Develop relationships with local vendors, chefs, and suppliers

  • Ensure consistency in quality, presentation, and availability day-to-day

  • Introduce new ideas regularly (rotating menus, themed meals, seasonal experiences)

  • Manage budget thoughtfully—maximize impact per dollar

  • Maintain food safety and operational excellence

Operate & Scale the Workplace

  • Own day-to-day office operations (supplies, cleanliness, layout, maintenance)

  • Build lightweight, scalable systems that grow with the company

  • Manage vendors and contracts across food, facilities, and events

  • Anticipate needs before they become problems

Think Like a Builder

  • Treat the workplace and events as a product—measure, iterate, improve

  • Use feedback, observation, and data to guide decisions

  • Move fast, test ideas, and refine based on what works

  • Stay plugged into trends in workplace experience, hospitality, and events

What We’re Looking For
  • 3–7+ years of experience in a startup environment (required)

  • Experience in workplace management, hospitality, operations, and/or event management

  • Proven ability to plan and execute events end-to-end

  • Strong ownership mindset—you don’t wait to be told what to fix

  • Deep attention to detail and high standards for quality

  • Experience managing food programs, catering, or vendor relationships

  • Excellent organizational and execution skills

  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and building from 0 → 1

  • Strong interpersonal skills—you naturally create positive, human experiences

Nice to Have
  • Background in hospitality, culinary, or food & beverage programs

  • Experience running offsites or large-scale internal events

  • Experience at high-growth startups

  • Passion for food, coffee, and creating memorable in-person experiences

What Success Looks Like
  • The workplace feels alive, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed for builders

  • Events are consistently high-quality, well-run, and meaningful

  • Food and beverage experiences are widely loved

  • Employees choose to come in because the environment adds real value

  • Operations run smoothly, any friction is intentional
