About Fluidstack

We exist to make humanity more free. For most of human history, you farmed or you starved. Technology gave people more time for the things they wanted to do, instead of things they had to do. Powerful AI will be the biggest lever for human choice we've ever built - but only if models are aligned with what humanity actually wants. There are groups building AI who don't share these goals. Whoever deploys frontier compute infrastructure fastest will decide whether AI expands human freedom or shrinks it.

We're singularly focused on delivering 10 to 100s of GWs of compute faster than anyone else, rethinking every layer of the stack. We acquire power, design and build data centers, and operate them - with teams spanning hardware and software. Speed and scale are our key differentiators. Come be a part of building civilization-scale infrastructure for AI.

We hire people who care deeply about this problem space. If that is you, please apply!

The People Team

Examples of key problems the team is working on

  • Make every lifecycle moment land cleanly, in every region. Onboarding, promotions, leave, and offboarding are the moments that shape how people feel about the company, and they have to run reliably as headcount grows across multiple countries.

  • Turn ad hoc processes into systems that scale 10x. Some lifecycle processes exist, but they break as the company multiplies. You'll own how each one is designed and delivered so it holds up at many times the current size.

  • Own the operational backbone of the employee experience. Behind every smooth onboarding or leave is precise, consistent execution. You own that work end to end, so nothing slips as the org gets more complex..

Why This Role Exists

Employee lifecycle moments (onboarding, promotions, leave, and offboarding) shape how people experience the company. As Fluidstack grows across multiple geographies, executing these moments reliably becomes more complex. This role exists to ensure lifecycle processes run cleanly and consistently in each region.

About the Role

You will own the execution of core employee lifecycle processes in your region: onboarding, offboarding, employment changes, leave administration, and the operational work that keeps the employee experience running cleanly. These are the moments that shape how people feel about working here, and they deserve to be handled with care and precision.

Some lifecycle processes already exist, but this function owns how these moments are designed and delivered in practice. You will execute, improve, and evolve onboarding, offboarding, and other lifecycle events as the company grows, ensuring they remain clear, reliable, and thoughtful for the people experiencing them.We want someone who cares about the craftsmanship of these systems, even the parts no one else sees.

You report into People Ops and collaborate with cross-functional partners. You’re the person who makes sure nothing falls through the cracks during the moments that matter most to employees.

What You Will DoFirst 30 Days
  • Complete onboarding and learn Fluidstack’s lifecycle processes, systems (Rippling and adjacent tools), and regional requirements.

  • Shadow or review recent onboarding and offboarding cycles to understand current execution quality.

  • Build relationships with EE Partners, Workplace, and Finance counterparts in your region.

  • Identify any gaps between documented processes and actual execution in your geo.

By 60 Days
  • Own end-to-end execution of onboarding and offboarding for your region. No handoff confusion, no missed steps.

  • Process employment changes (role changes, promotions, transfers, leaves) accurately and on time.

  • Maintain clean employee records and ensure compliance with local employment requirements.

  • Surface process improvement opportunities with clear data: what’s breaking, how often, and what it costs.

By 90 Days
  • Lifecycle processes in your region run reliably. Managers and employees trust the system.

  • You’ve closed at least one meaningful process gap and can demonstrate the before-and-after.

  • You have a working relationship with regional vendors, legal, and compliance contacts.

  • You’re proactively managing upcoming lifecycle events rather than reacting to them.

What We Are Looking For
  • Intense curiosity about how systems and processes can be designed to serve people better.

  • Love of learning. Employment practices vary across regions and evolve constantly, and you find that interesting rather than tedious.

  • Kindness and empathy, especially during the lifecycle moments that matter most to people: their first day, a leave of absence, a departure.

  • A customer-first mindset. Your customers are Fluidstack employees, and you treat every interaction with them accordingly.

  • Clarity, approachability, and precision in communication.

  • You have executed HR/People operations processes before and you care about getting the details right.

  • You understand that lifecycle moments (first day, last day, parental leave, promotion) shape how people feel about a company. You treat them accordingly.

  • You’re reliable and organized. When you own a process, things don’t get dropped.

  • We welcome candidates from operations, HR administration, or any background where process execution and attention to detail were the core of the work. No specific degree required.

You’ll Thrive Here If You
  • Care about details. From system accuracy to careful craftsmanship in process, the small parts (even the parts no one else sees) matter to you.

  • Care about the human. An employee’s first day, a parent’s leave, a colleague’s departure. These are real moments in real people’s lives, and you treat them with the weight they deserve.

  • Create innovative solutions. You understand that “the way it’s always been done” isn’t a good enough reason, and you’re always looking for a better, more human way.

  • Want to make something really great. The bar is high, but so too is the opportunity to make a difference in how people experience this company.

What Additive Value Looks Like
  • Familiarity with Rippling or similar HRIS platforms.

  • Experience with multi-country or multi-entity employment administration.

  • Background in a regulated industry where compliance rigor was non-negotiable.

Salary & Benefits
  • Competitive total compensation package (salary + equity).

  • Retirement or pension plan, in line with local norms.

  • Health, dental, and vision insurance.

  • Generous PTO policy, in line with local norms.

The base salary range for this position is $110,000 - $170,000 per year, depending on experience, skills, qualifications, and location. This range represents our good faith estimate of the compensation for this role at the time of posting. Total compensation may also include equity in the form of stock options.

We are committed to pay equity and transparency.
