What You’ll Do
- Support clients with autism and intellectual disabilities in the community
- Facilitate meaningful community connections through employment, volunteer opportunities, and community activities.
- Teach independent living skills and promote adaptive behaviors.
- Provide transportation and assist with public transit training.
- Support individuals with skill building within their communities.
- Encourage client growth in a fun, supportive environment!
Locations
- Reporting office: Irvine, CA
- Areas throughout Orange County include: Costa Mesa, Irvine, Dana Point, Rancho Santa Margarita, Mission Viejo, Laguna Hills, Laguna Niguel, and other surrounding cities.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Reliable vehicle, valid CA driver’s license, insurance, and clean driving record
- Must be comfortable driving clients in your vehicle
- CPR/First Aid + ProAct certification (within 2 weeks of hire; training provided)
- Ability to physically assist clients as needed
- Personal care assistance (restroom assistance/changing diaper, wheelchair assistance, comfortable with ADLs)
- Prior ABA or human services experience is a plus!

Schedule
- Monday–Friday, full-time (8:30 AM–2:30 PM); preferred availability 7 AM–4 PM
- Part-time opportunities available!
- No nights or weekends!
- 30+ hours per week (FT)
- $20-22/hour
Important information
- This role involves unsupervised, direct support of children and/or adults in home, school, and community settings. Duties include implementing behavior plans, managing behavioral escalations, assisting with daily living needs, entering private residences, and accessing confidential health and personal information. Employment is contingent upon meeting applicable pre-employment requirements, which may include verification of education, employment history, credentials, motor vehicle records (if applicable), and other role- or state-specific requirements.
- This role includes paid training and professional development opportunities, including required ACRE-related training and competency development designed to support success in employment services. Team members are required to successfully complete and pass all required training coursework, assessments, and competency requirements as part of the role within their first year.
