We are looking for an experienced energy and infrastructure sustainability specialist to join our Corporate Sustainability team to help us power this future responsibly! This new role will be responsible for NVIDIA's clean energy strategy, driving the implementation related solutions for our operations and datacenters. The role encompasses energy projects, operational sustainability and policy advocacy to advance NVIDIA's sustainability goals.

What you'll be doing:

  • Evolve and implement NVIDIA's global clean energy strategy

  • Collaborate with internal teams on the planning, development, and completion of clean energy projects across our operations

  • Evaluate and propose sustainability initiatives related to NVIDIA's facilities and operations, and coordinate implementation of those initiatives with our facilities team

  • Serve as a subject matter authority on energy policy, supporting NVIDIA’s broader work with policymakers, industry coalitions, and regulatory bodies to advance policies that support NVIDIA’s energy strategy

  • Monitor clean energy market trends, policy developments, and new technologies to analyze opportunities and risks that impact our energy strategy

What we need to see:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field (or equivalent experience)

  • 12+ years of progressive experience in corporate energy management, clean energy development, or related fields in the technology, utilities, or energy sectors

  • Deep technical knowledge of energy systems, renewable energy technologies, power markets, energy procurement strategies, and grid infrastructure

  • Demonstrated experience developing and leading clean energy strategies and managing sophisticated energy projects from concept through implementation

  • Solid understanding of energy and climate policy at federal, state, and international levels

  • Proven track record of effective communication and innovation, with outstanding written and verbal communication skills suitable for executive, technical, and policy audiences

  • Experience managing cross-functional initiatives and influencing others across the organization

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Direct experience in the data center industry, with understanding of the specific energy challenges and opportunities in AI infrastructure

  • Direct experience with PPAs, VPPAs and other energy instruments

  • Knowledge of emerging energy technologies such as energy storage, hydrogen, carbon capture, advanced nuclear, and geothermal

  • Established relationships within the clean energy industry, policy community, or corporate sustainability networks

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 200,000 USD - 322,000 USD.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
