Position Summary

Trinity Life Sciences is seeking an Engagement Manager to join our Commercial Analytics team. In this role, you will lead the delivery of high-impact analytics engagements, serve as a key client contact, and guide teams in solving complex commercial business challenges across the product lifecycle.

Engagement Managers are responsible for end-to-end project execution, including translating client needs into analytical approaches, overseeing deliverable development, and ensuring high-quality insights and recommendations. You will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver actionable solutions across areas such as field team strategy, incentive compensation, and brand performance analytics.

This role offers the opportunity to manage multiple engagements, develop client relationships, and contribute to the growth of Trinity’s Commercial Analytics capabilities.

Essential Functions

Client & Project Delivery

  • Serve as the day-to-day client lead on commercial analytics engagements, managing communication, expectations, and deliverables

  • Translate client business questions into structured analytical approaches across field team strategy, incentive compensation, and brand analytics

  • Oversee the design and execution of analyses, including sales team sizing, segmentation, targeting, performance reporting, and IC plan design

  • Ensure high-quality, accurate, and insight-driven deliverables, including executive-ready presentations and tools

  • Manage project plans, timelines, workstreams, and stakeholder coordination across multiple engagements

  • Proactively identify risks, scope changes, and client needs, and recommend solutions to maintain project success

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead and mentor junior team members, including Associates, Consultants, and Senior Consultants, across project execution and professional development

  • Provide guidance on analytical methodologies, tool development, and problem-solving approaches

  • Foster a collaborative, high-performance team environment with strong communication and accountability

  • Support staffing decisions and help manage team capacity across engagements

Internal Collaboration & Capability Building

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., Strategy, Insights, Analytics, and Data Science) to deliver integrated solutions

  • Contribute to the development of best practices, reusable modules, and scalable analytics solutions

  • Support internal initiatives such as training, process improvements, and knowledge sharing

  • Model strong project leadership behaviors, including structured problem-solving, quality control, and effective communication

Business Development

  • Contribute to the growth of existing client engagements by identifying opportunities to extend or deepen project work

  • Support proposal development efforts, including providing input on scope, approach, and timelines as needed

  • Participate in internal knowledge sharing and capability-building initiatives within Commercial Analytics

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MS, MBA, or equivalent) preferred. Degree in a quantitative, scientific, or business-related field preferred

Work Experience:

  • 6–8 years of experience in commercial analytics, consulting, or related roles within life sciences

  • Strong experience in areas such as sales analytics, field team planning, incentive compensation design, or brand analytics

  • Experience working with life sciences datasets (e.g., claims, sales, call activity, or patient-level data) required

  • Prior experience managing projects and leading teams preferred

Technical Skills:

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint required

  • Experience with business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) preferred

  • Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python, VBA) is a plus

  • Strong structured problem-solving and analytical capabilities

Other Skills:

  • Strong client management and stakeholder communication skills

  • Ability to independently manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities

  • Ability to translate complex analyses into clear, actionable insights and recommendations

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality deliverables

  • Collaborative, team-oriented mindset with a proactive and solutions-driven approach

  • Interest in the life sciences industry and commercialization strategy

Trinity’s salary bands account for a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets and market demand for skills; level of experience and training; specific qualifications, performance, time in role/company, geographic location, and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $136,000 - $204,000. In addition to your base salary, you will also be eligible for an annual discretionary performance bonus.
