The Rotational Engineering (ROE) Program was created to provide a quality experience to early career level engineers to learn across FirstEnergy in a variety of diverse engineering positions. This selective two-year rotational program supports individuals to learn valuable technical and professional skills while kick-starting their career in the electric utility industry. The ROE Program resides in FirstEnergy's Construction & Design Services (C&DS), Transmission, and Distribution (Engineering Services) organizations.

Within the program, individuals will have access to personalized coaching and mentoring, professional development, continued educational opportunities, and more.

Typically, rotational engineers will complete four rotations lasting about six months each. Rotational engineers are required to be geographically flexible for rotations. At the end of the program individuals are placed into final full-time assignments based upon business need and interest.
