Ericsson Smart Factory Inc. seeks an Engineer in Lewisville, TX, & and various unanticipated worksites throughout the United States who will serve to research, design, develop or test telecommunications electrical hardware or software in a specialized division of the Ericsson telecom organization.
What you will do:
Utilize exceptional ability in telecommunications electrical hardware or software to contribute to the planning, development, or integration of specialized telecom systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integration of specialized telecom systems with existing infrastructure, ensuring compatibility and optimal performance. Monitor specialized telecom system performance and reliability, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to enhance service quality. Diagnose and resolve issues related to specialized telecom hardware or software, providing support to internal teams and/or external stakeholders. Prepare reports on system performance and project progress. Ensure relevant specialized telecom systems adhere to relevant industry standards, regulations, and internal policies. Up to 20% domestic/international travel required.
You will bring:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an Engineering field related to Telecom Engineering, and 5 years of engineering experience related to telecommunications electrical hardware or software; OR Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or an Engineering field related to Telecom Engineering and 2 years of engineering experience related to telecommunications electrical hardware or software.
