Role Overview

As an Engineering Manager for Integrations & Search, you will lead and scale a team of full stack engineers to create integrations with strategic partners and vendors as well as enable search over data source using MCP’s and deep research. You will help architect systems to bring legal context into Harvey and also work with our Partnerships org and internal teams to prioritize which ones to build. This role is equal parts product intuition and technical execution. You’ll be trusted to make fast, high-quality decisions, ship impactful features, work on the cutting edge of applied AI and grow a team that embodies engineering excellence

We move with urgency, bias toward simplicity, and expect our leaders to be hands-on when needed. If you’re energized by ownership, decisive execution, and solving real user problems, we'd love to hear from you.

This role is based in San Francisco, CA. We use an in-person work model (3 days a week) and offer relocation assistance to new employees.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead full stack engineering team(s) building user-facing features across our web product.

  • Collaborate closely with Product and Partnerships teams to identify and execute on high-impact integrations

  • Work closely with engineers to build, platformize and scale integrations, working across the stack and with adjacent teams

  • Expand the breadth and depth of integrations into the Harvey platform

  • Help build first class search tooling partnering with vendors to help users access context easily inside Harvey

  • Contribute to code and architecture reviews, unblock teams, and lead by example when needed

  • Hire, grow, and retain exceptional engineers who thrive in a high-trust, high-impact environment

What You Have
  • 2+ years of experience in a software engineering management role leading full stack product engineering teams, preferably in high-growth environments.

  • 5+ years of experience as a full stack or backend product engineer.

  • A track record of leading high-performing, engaged engineering teams.

  • Experience working with Integrations and partnering with cross functional and Partnerships teams

  • Experience with modern frontend frameworks (e.g. React) and backend systems (e.g. Python, Node, Go)

  • A plus: Exposure to syncing infrastructures, durable job execution frameworks and search systems/MCP’s

Compensation Range

$260,000 - $330,000 USD
