As an Engineering Manager for the Platform team at Cardata, you’ll lead a team re-building our core platform from the ground up. We are looking for a hands-on leader who thrives in a startup environment, balancing technical contribution with strategic and effective delegation.
What You'll Do
- Lead and mentor a high performing engineering team, facilitating career development conversations, conducting regular performance evaluation and providing on-going feedback
- Evaluate and own the platform architecture and develop strategic roadmap for feature development and scalability
- Be hands on in the development while ensuring efficient project execution and roadmap progress.

What You'll Bring
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering with 2+ years in a leadership role
- Proficiency with Typescript, React, PostgreSQL, NodeJS, NestJS and NextJS
- Understanding of Clean Code Principles, testing, and building with quality
- Experience with logging and monitoring platforms such as Datadog
- Excellent leadership, communication and collaboration skills
- Proven ability to manage teams, align with business goals, and maintain clear documentation
- Growth mindset with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement
- Nice to have: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
