About the role: As a Senior Engineering Manager at Kiddom, you’ll report to the VP of Engineering while leading multiple teams of talented engineers. This role combines technical leadership with strategic impact, allowing you to shape Kiddom’s systems and processes to scale our business. You’ll work with modern technologies, including Python, Golang, Node.js, JS/Typescript, Kubernetes, and AWS, while solving challenging technical problems that directly impact educators, administrators, and students. You will have the ability to motivate and inspire change across the entire engineering organization as we adapt to new technologies and AI capabilities that make us and our users more efficient.
This role can be based in NYC or San Francisco and requires 2-3 days in office.

- 10+ years of software engineering work experience
- 3+ years of experience in people management
- Experience with modern fullstack languages and frameworks
- Proven experience hiring and building teams
- Ability to balance priorities and make thoughtful decisions
- A customer-centric mindset to build our platform services and features
- You can provide objective feedback, supporting individual and team growth
- Adaptability, resiliency, and ability to thrive in ambiguity
Salary range is dependent on geography, past experience, seniority, and demonstrated role related ability during the interview process.
