We are hiring for three types of engineers:
- Hardcore engineer; obsessed with simplicity and correctness. has strong opinions about how systems should work, grounded in data and deep understanding of reality
- Design engineer; obsessed with details, sparkles, making things feel extra delightful. Owning the front-end of what makes Whop iconic.
- Business savvy engineer; motivated by business metrics and real customer problems. You ship the fix fast, reducing the friction our users feel.
Every engineer here is deeply technical and a relentless problem-solver. We think deeply, not frantically.
Our mission is to deliver everyone a sustainable income. Right now 50,000 users make money on Whop every month, and this year users will earn over $5B. We will not stop until 1B people every month are making money on Whop.
Our culture is built on the premise that people should be given budget to take large bets, have full agency, and move fast as fuck. Today there are 100 people full time at Whop.
We don't believe in traditional JDs. The most successful people at Whop have all come from extremely unconventional backgrounds and all we care about is working with the most talented individuals who want to win. Given the small size of our team, we pay best in class with extremely competitive equity packages.
