Main Purpose of the Role
Welocalize is looking for a translator - copyeditor with experience in translating patents from English into Dutch (native-level fluency of Dutch) with immediate availability for a patent translation project.
This is an on-going freelance and remote position with an expected weekly words volume of 500 to 1k. No minimum volume capacity is required as we are happy to collaborate together depending on your availability.

For this role, we are looking for someone with the following requirements:
- Translate patent-related content from English into Dutch, with original meaning conveyed in a manner that is readable and understandable to target audience. The Style adequacy is a key aspect for our client;
- Minimum two years' experience translating and reviewing content in the patent fields;
- Effective, proficient communicator in English;
- CAT Tool: Trados, XTM
- Native fluency in target language;
- Degree in linguistics, translation or equivalent experience;
