The Role

As an Enterprise Account Executive at Compa, you’ll own the full sales cycle for our most sophisticated prospects, landing the world’s largest companies on the value of live compensation market data, then consult on expanding the teams that are ready to dive into our AI Agents.

You’ll sell into skeptical, data-driven compensation and total rewards leaders who expect you to earn their trust through genuine partnership. This role reports into the Head of Sales where you’ll be a force multiplier on a lean, high-output team; running your own meetings, building your own pipeline, and partnering with Marketing, Partnerships, and Pre-Sales Insights to get deals across the line.

What You’ll Do
  • Own the full sales cycle end to end.

  • Build consistent, self-generated pipeline through creative, multi-channel prospecting; you don’t wait to be fed leads.

  • Run sharp discovery that surfaces the real compensation and data pain and quantifies what it costs the business.

  • Qualify rigorously: name the economic buyer, put a number on the pain, and confirm a clear path to purchase.

  • Deliver compelling demos that connect Compa’s live data to each buyer’s specific use cases.

  • Partner with Marketing, Partnerships, and Insights to build pipeline and close deals.

  • Write effective, on-brand outbound that earns replies from busy executive buyers.

  • Keep HubSpot current and forecast your business accurately.

What We’re Looking For
  • 5+ years of full-cycle closing experience selling technology into large mid-market or enterprise accounts.

  • A track record of building your own pipeline.

  • The ability to run your own meetings and earn the trust of skeptical, data-driven expert buyers.

  • Strong discovery and qualification instincts.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, including confident live demo delivery.

  • Comfort operating in a startup environment with lean resources.

As a Plus
  • Experience selling HR tech at a startup.

  • A background selling innovative or category-creating solution.

  • Experience helping first-time or hesitant software buyers.
