Your Role
As an Enterprise Account Executive at Ascend, you will be at the forefront of scaling our Enterprise Sales function by engaging with senior leadership and key stakeholders across large insurance agencies and broker networks. You’ll be responsible not only for landing strategic, high-impact deals but also for expanding existing Enterprise relationships. Success in this role hinges on your ability to sell into sophisticated organizations, navigate longer sales cycles with multiple stakeholders, and bring strategic discipline to every phase of the pipeline.
We are hiring for this position in either San Francisco, CA, or Columbus, OH.
Responsibilities will include
- Own the full-cycle Enterprise Sales process—from prospecting to stakeholder alignment, procurement navigation, and contract negotiation.
- Develop and manage a robust pipeline of large insurance agency prospects by applying a strategic, account-based approach to outreach and engagement.
- Build deep product and industry knowledge to consultatively sell Ascend’s value and ROI.
- Partner with Marketing and SDRs to develop territory plans, campaigns, and pipeline coverage.
- Manage complex Enterprise sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders and procurement processes.
- Collaborate with Customer Success and Product to ensure smooth onboarding and expansion.
- Forecast accurately and consistently using data-driven insights and CRM discipline.
You might be a good fit if you are / have
- 3+ years of technology sales experience with Enterprise clients.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding $1M+ annual quotas in complex, consultative deals with six-figure ACVs.
- Consultative sales approach and extensive experience with multi-threading and multi-stakeholder buying processes.
- Exceptional communication, storytelling, and negotiation skills.
- Insurance/Financial Services experience is a plus.
- High-growth startup experience is a plus.
Compensation: $250,000 - $300,000 OTE (Uncapped)
