About Middesk:

Middesk is building the data and intelligence infrastructure that helps businesses work together with confidence. We started by creating a comprehensive platform for understanding businesses, bringing together authoritative and proprietary data to help customers verify business identities, onboard customers faster, and manage risk throughout the customer lifecycle.

Today, Middesk is used by more than 700 banks and fintechs, and in 2025 we verified more than 7 million companies. We've also expanded beyond business verification to help companies form, register, manage, and maintain their businesses, supporting more than 50,000 companies in setting up over 100,000 accounts required to hire employees, run payroll, and stay compliant.

Middesk came out of Y Combinator, and is backed by Sequoia Capital, Accel, Insight Partners, and Canapi. We're proud to be named on the Forbes Fintech 50 and Best Startup Employers lists.

About the Role

We're hiring an Enterprise Account Executive to help define the future of business identity.

At Middesk, you'll sell category-defining infrastructure that helps companies verify businesses, onboard customers faster, and manage risk with confidence. You'll partner with some of the most innovative fintechs, lenders, marketplaces, and B2B platforms, helping them build trust into critical customer workflows.

This is an opportunity to own strategic new-logo acquisition, work directly with executive stakeholders, and shape the growth of a rapidly expanding category. Every deal you close will have a meaningful impact on our customers, our product, and Middesk's trajectory.

We're looking for a consultative seller who thrives in complex environments, enjoys learning technical products, and is energized by building in an ambitious, fast-moving company.

We follow a hybrid work model with an expectation of 3 days per week in our NYC OR SF office.

What You'll Do

  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through close across enterprise and strategic accounts.

  • Build and manage relationships with product, engineering, compliance, risk, and executive stakeholders.

  • Lead complex, multi-stakeholder sales processes focused on solving meaningful customer challenges.

  • Develop a deep understanding of Middesk's platform and partner closely with Solutions Engineering during evaluations and implementation planning.

  • Generate pipeline through a combination of outbound prospecting, account planning, and relationship development.

  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Customer teams to share market feedback and influence our roadmap.

  • Represent Middesk as a trusted advisor and thought partner in identity, compliance, and risk infrastructure.

What We're Looking For

  • 7 years of experience closing complex B2B software or infrastructure deals with multiple stakeholders.

  • A track record of winning new business and managing enterprise sales cycles.

  • Experience selling into fintech, financial services, B2B software, marketplaces, regulated industries, or similarly complex customer environments.

  • Ability to engage technical, operational, and executive audiences with confidence.

  • Strong curiosity and willingness to learn customer workflows, APIs, and technical concepts.

  • A proactive, ownership-oriented approach and comfort operating in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have

  • Experience selling API-first products, developer tools, data products, or infrastructure software.

  • Experience working with fintech, compliance, identity, risk, KYC, or KYB solutions.

  • Previous startup or high-growth company experience.
