Position Overview:
Our client is seeking an Enterprise Architect – Platform who will define and implement our client's next-generation architecture that connects 22+ products into a unified, cloud-ready, and AI-enabled ecosystem. This role bridges strategy and execution—designing the foundational blueprints that enable platform unification, data interoperability, and scalable, modern applications.
You will work closely with engineering and product leadership to align architecture across key initiatives such as cloud transformation, platform adoption, analytics, and AI enablement. In addition to setting strategic direction, you will be hands-on—guiding design decisions, developing reference architectures, and validating modernization patterns that support our client’s continued growth and platform evolution.
Job Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with engineering and product leadership to define and execute the multi-year platform architecture roadmap.
  • Design and document a scalable, modular, and cloud-native architecture that supports shared services, unified data models, and cross-product interoperability.
  • Serve as the architectural owner for initiatives that advance platform maturity, including data model consolidation, single sign-on, customer onboarding, and common administration.
  • Partner with Data and AI teams to align platform design with analytics, reporting, and AI integration frameworks.
  • Provide hands-on technical leadership, including reviewing designs, building reference implementations, and mentoring teams in modern architecture and DevOps practices.
  • Establish and govern architecture principles, standards, and reusable patterns across APIs, event-driven systems, data flows, and security.
  • Drive modernization efforts toward containerized, IaC-managed, and service-oriented architectures.
  • Partner with DevOps to ensure scalable CI/CD pipelines, observability, and environment automation.
  • Evaluate tools, frameworks, and cloud solutions to promote long-term maintainability, performance, and cost efficiency.

Required Skills:
  • 8+ years of software-engineering experience, including 5+ years in a Senior or Lead Architect role within a SaaS environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experienced in designing large-scale SaaS or multi-product architectures that balance scalability, security, and performance.
  • Proven success designing and implementing enterprise-scale, cloud-native architectures leveraging both .NET (Core/C#) and Java ecosystems.
  • Strong experience with Angular front-end frameworks and RESTful API or GraphQL integration design.
  • Deep knowledge of relational databases including SQL Server, Oracle, and MySQL, with expertise in data modeling and performance optimization.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and
  • Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform or AWS CDK.
  • Familiarity with AI and ML services, data pipelines, and modern analytics platforms such as Snowflake or Databricks.
  • Adept at collaborating with product, engineering, data, and AI teams to translate business strategy into technical execution.
  • Comfortable guiding teams through modernization and cloud adoption while ensuring stability and delivery velocity.
  • Experience leading architecture modernization, microservices adoption, and cross-product integration initiatives.
  • A strategic and hands-on architect who thrives on solving complex platform challenges.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to align executives and technical teams around a cohesive architectural vision.
  • Passionate about simplifying complexity, enabling innovation, and improving developer experience.
