The Enterprise Architect will set integration architecture standards, own the integration strategy for cloud environments, and collaborate with various teams to govern integration platforms and standards.
The summary above was generated by AI

At F5, we strive to bring a better digital world to life. Our teams empower organizations across the globe to create, secure, and run applications that enhance how we experience our evolving digital world. We are passionate about cybersecurity, from protecting consumers from fraud to enabling companies to focus on innovation.

Everything we do centers around people. That means we obsess over how to make the lives of our customers, and their customers, better. And it means we prioritize a diverse F5 community where each individual can thrive.

You'll set the integration architecture that connects every system in the enterprise — the standards, platforms, and patterns that determine how data and events flow between hundreds of applications across cloud and on-prem. This role defines the blueprint that engineering teams build to and owns the long-term health of the integration estate.

Required skills
  • 12+ years in enterprise architecture, integration architecture, or solutions architecture, including 5+ years owning an integration strategy for a complex multi-cloud or hybrid environment.

  • Expertise in applied AI/ML for enterprise workflows and business process (agentic automation, copilots embedded in business systems, intelligent process automation).

  • Hands-on architectural ownership of Dell Boomi — process design, Atom and Molecule deployment topology, environment promotion, and the governance model that keeps a shared tenant healthy. Deep experience with Informatica across the relevant stack.

  • Design and govern the broader integration platform: API management and event streaming (Kafka, Confluent, or Pub/Sub), including contracts, versioning, and deprecation policy.

  • Lead architecture for data integration across ETL/ELT pipelines, change data capture (CDC), and real-time streaming — and decide when each pattern is the right answer.

  • Command of identity federation and service-to-service authentication across SaaS and internal systems and workload identity in hybrid cloud.

  • Partner with platform, security, and application teams to land integration standards in writing — reference architectures, paved roads, and the exception process for when teams need to deviate.

Preferred skills
  • Lead integration strategy and execution for M&A activity, including system integration, data migration, and application rationalization.

  • Boomi or Informatica certifications (Boomi Professional Developer, Informatica Cloud Data Integration Specialist, or equivalent).

  • Experience standing up an Integration Center of Excellence (CoE), including the reusable patterns, scaffolding, and developer experience that make it adoptable.

  • Working knowledge of master data management (MDM) — ideally Informatica MDM — and event-driven architecture at enterprise scale.

  • Hands-on background as an integration developer earlier in your career — you've written the code, not just drawn the boxes.

  • Major Tech Employers: Google, Apple, Salesforce, Meta
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, fintech, consumer technology, software
  • Funding Landscape: $50.5 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Sequoia Capital, Andreessen Horowitz, Bessemer Venture Partners, Greylock Partners, Khosla Ventures, Kleiner Perkins
