We are seeking an Integration Analyst and Developer with expertise in HL7 and healthcare interoperability standards to support the exchange of clinical and operational data across healthcare systems. This individual will analyze workflows, map data, and define interface requirements to design, implement, and maintain reliable system integrations.
This role involves daily collaboration with technical and operational teams across EHR, Laboratory, and Ambulatory environments. The ideal candidate holds a valid Epic Bridges Certification, has strong experience with InterSystems IRIS for Health, and demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience with EHR-to-Epic conversions and healthcare data integrations is strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze and document business requirements and workflows; translate them into technical specifications, process models, and data flows
- Partner with stakeholders, project managers, and IT teams to define system integration and application requirements
- Gather and transform data into detailed functional and technical documentation
- Define interface requirements, data mappings, constraints, and non-functional requirements
- Support design, development, testing, and implementation of clinical systems and integrations
- Lead stakeholder meetings, workgroups, and follow-up activities
- Identify risks, issues, and gaps; propose solutions and support decision-making
- Ensure alignment with quality standards, internal policies, and industry regulations
- Support unit testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and system deployments
- Provide end-user support and troubleshoot application/system issues
- Develop documentation including test plans, release notes, and training materials
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to team development
- Drive process improvements and optimization initiatives
- Deliver presentations and updates to stakeholders and leadership

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience supporting clinical systems analysis, design, and implementation
- Ability to gather and translate business needs into functional and technical requirements
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate complex data and workflows
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder expectations
Certifications
- Epic Certification (required/preferred based on module)
- Additional specialty certifications (may substitute for experience up to 1 year)
Skills & Experience
- Clinical background (preferred)
- Experience with 2+ full lifecycle implementations
- Knowledge of HL7 interfaces and interoperability frameworks
- Experience with InterSystems IRIS for Health
- Prior EHR-to-Epic conversion experience
- Master’s degree (or advanced clinical degree) with 2+ years of relevant experience

- Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience

- 2–5 years of experience with Epic EMR and/or other clinical applications
Additional Details
- Work Model: ~80% remote / up to 20% onsite
- Must be able to report onsite within 48 hours when required
- Occasional extended hours may be required based on project needs
