Position Summary

The Application Administrator will serve as a primary owner of the Epicor Prophet 21 (P21) ERP system, supporting day‑to‑day operations, continuous process improvement, and system enhancements across the organization. This role will also support and collaborate on the company’s Oro platform website, ensuring seamless integration between ERP, eCommerce, and internal business processes. The ideal candidate is technically capable, process‑oriented, and motivated to deeply understand the business and how technology enables growth.

Key Responsibilities

Epicor P21 Administration & Support

  • Act as the primary administrator for the Epicor Prophet 21 (P21) ERP system.
  • Manage system configuration, security, users, roles, workflows, and integrations.
  • Provide functional and technical support to business users, troubleshooting issues and coordinating resolutions.
  • Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into system solutions.
  • Support upgrades, patches, testing, and ongoing system optimization.

Process Improvement & Business Enablement

  • Learn end‑to‑end business processes across sales, operations, supply chain, finance, and customer service.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, data accuracy, and user experience through system enhancements and automation.
  • Document business processes, system workflows, and best practices.
  • Support change management, testing, and user adoption of new functionality.

Oro Platform Website Support

  • Support the Oro platform (e.g., OroCommerce) website, ensuring alignment with P21 data and workflows.
  • Assist with product data, pricing, customers, contracts, and order integration between ERP and eCommerce.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners on enhancements, issue resolution, and platform improvements.
  • Monitor system performance and data integrity across ERP and web platforms.

Collaboration & Continuous Learning

  • Work closely with IT, Client Services, Sales, Operations, and external vendors.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the company’s products, customers, and operational goals.
  • Stay current on Epicor P21 capabilities, integrations, and best practices.
  • Contribute to technology roadmaps and long‑term application strategy.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience administering or supporting ERP systems; Epicor P21 experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of business processes and how systems support them.
  • Experience supporting integrations between ERP and web/eCommerce platforms.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with both technical and non‑technical users.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Direct experience with Epicor Prophet 21 configuration, security, reporting, and integrations.
  • Experience supporting OroCommerce or similar B2B eCommerce platforms.
  • SQL or data analysis experience.
  • Experience working in distribution, manufacturing, or B2B environments.
  • Exposure to system implementations or upgrades.

Pay:

We offer competitive wages that are commensurate with job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and geographic location, starting in the range of $60,800.00 - $86,640.00 USD annually for full time employees. The annual compensation range is comprised of base pay earnings.
