About Fluidstack

We exist to make humanity more free. For most of human history, you farmed or you starved. Technology gave people more time for the things they wanted to do, instead of things they had to do. Powerful AI will be the biggest lever for human choice we've ever built - but only if models are aligned with what humanity actually wants. There are groups building AI who don't share these goals. Whoever deploys frontier compute infrastructure fastest will decide whether AI expands human freedom or shrinks it.

We're singularly focused on delivering 10 to 100s of GWs of compute faster than anyone else, rethinking every layer of the stack. We acquire power, design and build data centers, and operate them - with teams spanning hardware and software. Speed and scale are our key differentiators. Come be a part of building civilization-scale infrastructure for AI.

We hire people who care deeply about this problem space. If that is you, please apply!

About the Role

A senior equity operations role responsible for owning and scaling a global equity program from the ground up. Core responsibilities include cap table management, validating vested and exercised options and warrants, implementing and optimizing Shareworks, and navigating multi-jurisdictional complexity including UK activity. The ideal candidate thinks beyond day-to-day administration — proactively futureproofing equity infrastructure for post-IPO realities and connecting Shareworks data to downstream accounting and financial impacts. An exciting opportunity to build a team and process from scratch, with significant structuring opportunities across multiple jurisdictions alongside a world-class team.

What You'll Do
  • Own and maintain the cap table, including resolving any existing variances and issuing share certificates as needed

  • Validate the number of options vested and exercised, and warrants vested, ensuring data integrity across all equity records

  • Lead the implementation and ongoing optimization of Shareworks as the company's equity management platform

  • Ensure Shareworks source data is accurately connected to downstream accounting and financial reporting systems

  • Build and document equity operations processes and controls from the ground up

  • Manage equity activity across multiple jurisdictions, including the UK, ensuring local compliance requirements are met

  • Partner closely with finance, legal, and accounting teams to support equity-related reporting and audits

  • Think proactively about post-IPO equity structures, including the transition of RSUs to single-trigger vesting, and ensure the program is set up to scale accordingly

  • Hire and develop a high-performing equity operations team over time

What We're Looking For
  • Experience in equity operations or stock plan administration, ideally at a high-growth technology company

  • Hands-on experience with Shareworks, with implementation experience a strong plus

  • Deep knowledge of equity instruments including stock options, RSUs, and warrants

  • Experience managing and cleaning up cap tables

  • Familiarity with UK equity regulations and multi-jurisdictional equity programs

  • Strong understanding of the downstream accounting and financial reporting impacts of equity transactions

  • Experience validating option vesting schedules and exercise activity

  • Ability to issue share certificates and manage related compliance processes

  • Proven ability to build processes and systems from the ground up with minimal oversight

  • Strong attention to detail and comfort working with complex, high-stakes data

  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, particularly with finance, legal, accounting, and tax teams

  • CEP (Certified Equity Professional) designation required

  • GPHR (Global Professional in Human Resources) designation is a plus

Why This Role
  • Build a team and equity operations function from scratch, in the way it should be done

  • Work in an exciting, high-growth industry with exposure to complex equity structures across multiple jurisdictions

  • Be part of and learn from one of the best teams in the world

  • Play a critical role in shaping the company's equity infrastructure ahead of a significant liquidity event

The base salary range for this position is $180,000 - $250,000 per year, depending on experience, skills, qualifications, and location. This range represents our good faith estimate of the compensation for this role at the time of posting. Total compensation may also include equity in the form of stock options.

We are committed to pay equity and transparency.
