About Us
Ottimate is an AI-powered AP [Accounts Payable] automation platform that empowers finance teams to reduce costs, prevent overpayments, detect fraud, and enforce policy compliance across the entire invoice-to-payment lifecycle.

The Role
The Solution Manager for Intacct Integration is a critical, client-facing role responsible for the successful implementation and integration of our AP automation platform with our clients' (ERP) systems. You will serve as the primary technical and functional expert, bridging the gap between our clients' business needs and our solution's capabilities. You will lead the discovery, design, configuration, and deployment phases, ensuring a seamless and valuable experience for our customers.

This is a hands-on role that requires a deep understanding of both AP processes and the specific architecture of the Intacct system.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Solution Design & Pre-Sales Support:
  • Collaborate with the sales team during the final stages of the sales cycle to provide technical and functional expertise.
  • Lead discovery workshops with prospective clients to understand their current AP processes, pain points, and business requirements within their Intacct environment.
  • Design and present tailored integration solutions that demonstrate the value and capabilities of our platform.
  • Develop comprehensive Statements of Work (SOWs) that accurately define project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
  1. Implementation & Project Management:
  • Lead and manage the end-to-end implementation lifecycle for new clients, acting as the main point of contact for all technical and functional aspects of the project.
  • Translate client business requirements into detailed functional and technical design documents for the integration with Intacct.
  • Configure our AP automation solution and the integration points to meet the specific needs of the client.
  • Create and manage project plans, monitor project progress, and proactively manage risks and issues to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
  • Coordinate all project activities with internal teams (Engineering, Product) and client stakeholders (Finance, IT, AP departments).
  1. Technical & Functional Expertise:
  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on all aspects of the Intacct integration, including data mapping, API capabilities, and best practices for Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and AP processes.
  • Conduct system testing, support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and manage issue resolution to ensure the solution is stable, scalable, and meets business requirements.
  • Train client administrators and end-users to ensure successful adoption and long-term success with the platform.
  • Create and maintain high-quality documentation, including design specifications, configuration guides, and training materials.
  1. Product & Strategy Contribution:
  • Act as a liaison between the client and our Product Management team, gathering feedback to help shape the future roadmap of our Intacct connector and core platform.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and develop best practices for our implementation methodology.
  • Stay current with new Intacct features, releases, and industry trends to ensure our solution remains best-in-class.

Requirements
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
    • 3-5+ years of hands-on experience working directly with Intacct, either as an implementation consultant, business systems analyst, or administrator.
    • Deep functional knowledge of core financial and accounting processes, specifically within Accounts Payable (AP), Purchasing, and the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) lifecycle.
    • Proven experience in a client-facing role, such as consulting, professional services, or solution engineering, preferably within a SaaS environment.
    • Strong project management skills with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
    • A logical and analytical mindset with a strong aptitude for problem-solving.

Preferred Qualifications:

    • Direct experience implementing AP automation or other financial technology (FinTech) solutions.
    • Hands-on experience with system integrations using APIs (REST, SOAP), flat files, and middleware platforms.
    • Intacct-specific certification(s) (e.g., Sage Intacct Implementation Specialist)
    • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth technology company.
    • Basic understanding of data formats like JSON or XML.
    • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Asana, Smartsheet).
