Job Description

  • Provides ETL processing subject matter expertise to client projects
  • Designs and implements industry best ETL technologies to satisfy client requirements
  • Designs and develops optimal code to maintain exceptional performance in processing large volumes of data across diverse sources
  • Gathers and translates business requirements into analytical applications.
  • Collaborates with other project members and drive the development of BI initiatives
  • Designs, develops, and tests ETL solutions including modeling data warehouse metadata and automating data loading processes
  • Establishes ETL environments according to project requirements
  • Design and implements an efficient migration process to move ETL objects from development to test and production environments
  • Understands database design, programming concepts, data modeling and framework management.

Daily Tasks Performed.

  • Discuss and understand ETL requirements with Data Analysts
  • Develop, build Informatica mapping, workflows, create scripts for
  • production jobs; under a supervision of ETL Architect.
  • Working with Operations to implement jobs and support warranty
  • Unit test, UAT, and SIT the data and able to document all the test
  • process and results.

Wants

  • At least 5 years of Informatica PowerCenter experience.
  • This person will be the backup developer of the existing ETL developers, working well with the person is a crucial criterion.
  • Due to the project requirements, this person cannot take a long vacation (more than 1 week) in the first 6 months.
  • The visa status must allow the person to work in CA for two years.
  • Informatica PowerCenter v9+
  • Developer with 5+ years direct experience
  • Familiarity with DB2, SQL Server Database
  • Knowledge of Big Data is a plus

Qualifications

Musts

  • BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent training

Business Experience

  • Data Warehousing 3-5 years
  • ETL 3-5 years
  • Informatica 3-5 years
  • Oracle/SQL 3-5 years
