Join our Commercial and Investment Banking (CIB) Strategic Event Marketing and Sponsorships team as an Events Management Senior Associate and play a vital role in delivering world-class events for employees and clients across the globe. You’ll support every aspect of the event lifecycle—from registration and logistics to website content and on-site execution—while collaborating with planners, designers, and internal stakeholders including senior leaders. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to client service will help drive seamless event experiences and reinforce our reputation for excellence in event management.

Job Summary: 

As an Events Management Senior Associate Analyst in the Commercial and Investment Bank (CIB) Strategic Event Marketing and Sponsorships team, you will play a key role in driving and supporting the event strategy across North America for J.P. Morgan’s Securities Services and Prime Financial Services lines of business. In this position, you will help develop event strategy and drive all aspects of the event process, working closely with colleagues across our meetings and events teams, compliance, sales, product partners and senior management. You will collaborate with partners across the organization to deliver complex, high-impact events for employees and clients globally, ensuring process discipline, data-driven decision-making, and exceptional client experience.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality client and stakeholder service through clear verbal and written communication skills across all levels, including senior stakeholders and external clients.

  • Apply organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Build and manage project plans and operating documents including but not limited to roles/responsibilities and timelines, budgets and event specifications. 

  • Manage speaker logistics, acting as a liaison, creating and sending confirmations, briefing templates, setting up and managing prep calls and tracking documents, and creating and maintaining agendas. 

  • Lead all aspects of the invitation and registration management process including building and distributing invitations and attendee communications using our registration management system(s), thoroughly testing functionality and troubleshooting any issues to ensure reliable technology performance, ensuring accuracy of invitation list and registration data through reporting/tracking, and resolving any registration issues.

  • Adhere to events operational procedures and processes, managing compliance aspects for each event, reviewing and singing contracts according to guidelines, processing invoices, managing and maintaining approval processes. 

  • Handle event budgets, approvals, final accounting, and maintain attention to detail in all planning activities.

  • Lead all elements of event production – venue research and selection, catering, audiovisual requirements, data compilation and reporting, name badge and tent card production, sourcing promotional products, creation of event collateral, packing and shipping of event materials.

  • Execute onsite event production, acting as liaison to internal and external venues, overseeing all event day operations including onsite registration system, catering, audiovisual, speaker management with travel to events as needed. 

  • Utilize Microsoft Office, with strong Excel (pivot tables), Word (mail merge), and PowerPoint presentations to support event operations.

  • Plan and execute industry sponsorships - function as liaison to vendors, industry conference planners and key stakeholders regarding booth requirements and set up, printing and delivery of collateral and gift items, managing JPM delegates, delivery of logos, firm profile and any other event-related requirements.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years as a professional meeting planner or closely related field, ideally within the financial services industry. 
  • Effective written and oral communication skills including superior proofreading, with the ability to communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders, including dealing directly with senior executives. 
  • Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills and extreme attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated flexibility and ability to adapt to changing priorities; must be able to multi-task and work under tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrates high level of judgment and ability to respond quickly and diplomatically to  challenging and changing situations. Proactively identifies issues and finds a reasonable solution.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as hands-on experience using a Registration Management System.
  • Ability to work some early mornings, late evenings and travel  approximately 15%

 

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Proficiency with Copilot applications. 

  • Familiarity with basic virtual event platforms and related processes.
