Job Duties and Responsibilities
The Executive Assistant is a high-impact, strategic partner responsible for overseeing the central operations of the Office of the CEO. This is not an administrative position; it is a strategic leadership role designed for a professional who can operate as a proxy for the CEO, translate high-level vision into actionable workstreams, and navigate the complexities of a capital-intensive enterprise. The ideal candidate possesses the financial fluency of an investment professional, the organizational prowess of an operations leader, and the emotional intelligence of a seasoned diplomat.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive the CEO's top priorities from conception to completion; manage the "Special Projects" portfolio, ensuring cross-functional teams (Finance, Legal, HR, Tech) are aligned with EchoStar Capital's long-term roadmap
  • Act as a bridge between the CEO and the senior leadership team (SVP+); attend high-level meetings in the CEO's stead, providing synthesis, identifying risks, and ensuring follow-through on key decisions
  • Partner with the CFO and Finance teams to review capital allocation strategies, investment memos, and quarterly performance data; distill complex financial reports into executive summaries for the CEO and Board
  • Lead the preparation for Board of Directors meetings; own the narrative and data visualization for Board decks, ensuring all materials are precise, high-conformance, and strategically aligned
  • Craft executive-level communications, including internal memos, keynote speeches, and shareholder updates; ensure the CEO's vision is clearly articulated and consistent across all departments
  • Identify "bottlenecks" within the executive workflow. Implement systems (AI, automation, or process shifts) to increase the CEO's "Return on Time" and streamline decision-making

Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree from a top-tier institution is highly preferred
  • 8-12+ years of progressive experience in management consulting (Big 4/MBB), investment banking, or a high-growth corporate strategy environment
  • Deep experience with capital structures, P&L management, and executive-level financial reporting
  • Proven track record of influencing senior stakeholders without direct reporting lines

Skills and Qualifications
  • Ability to manage sensitive information regarding mergers, acquisitions, and personnel with total discretion
  • Exceptional writing and presentation skills; ability to "find the CEO's voice" in written and verbal communications
  • Adept at identifying complex problems and implementing evidence-based solutions under high-pressure timelines
  • Thrives in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment; resilient in the face of shifting priorities
  • Advanced proficiency in the Google Suite/Microsoft Office, with a specific mastery of data storytelling through PowerPoint/Slides

Salary Ranges
Compensation: $83,950.00/Year - $119,900.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
