About Us

Private events and catering can significantly increase restaurant and event space revenue, but many venues are stuck using outdated, error-prone manual processes - unlike the sophisticated software employed by large chains. Perfect Venue is leveling the playing field by offering local restaurants and venues an affordable, user-friendly, event management tool to help local them compete with big chains. This is just the start, with plans to expand into a broader marketplace that includes other event services (DJs, florists, etc).

We are hiring an Executive Assistant to the CEO to act as a true right hand to the founder at an early stage startup. This is a highly cross functional role designed for a sharp, detail oriented operator who thrives in fast moving environments and enjoys owning a wide range of responsibilities.

You will partner closely with the CEO and leadership team to drive execution across finance, operations, HR, and special projects. This role goes far beyond calendar management. You will help shape how the company runs day to day and play a meaningful role in its growth.

This role is ideal for someone with experience as an Executive Assistant, Operations Lead, or Chief of Staff who wants real ownership and exposure at an early stage company.

What You Will Do

CEO Support
  • Partner directly with the CEO to prioritize, plan, and execute key initiatives

  • Act as an extension of the CEO to keep projects moving and decisions organized

  • Anticipate needs, surface risks, and proactively solve problems

Finance and Vendor Management
  • Maintain and update financial models to support planning and decision making

  • Manage vendor relationships including negotiation, renewals, and optimization

  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting with leadership

  • Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve operational efficiency

HR and Recruiting Operations
  • Own HR administration including payroll, benefits, onboarding, and compliance

  • Support recruiting coordination and candidate experience

  • Help plan and execute culture building initiatives such as team events and offsites

Special Projects
  • Own special projects from idea through execution as needs arise

  • Create structure where none exists and drive initiatives to completion

What We Are Looking For
  • 2+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant, Operations Lead, or Chief of Staff at an early stage startup

  • Strong organizational and execution skills with high attention to detail

  • Comfortable working with data, financial models, and ambiguity

  • Resourceful, proactive, and excited to wear many hats

What We Offer
  • Competitive compensation with meaningful equity that you can actually use

  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage with premiums paid for you and cost sharing for dependents

  • Flexible PTO and 401(k)

  • Complimentary One Medical membership for you and your family

  • Hybrid schedule with three days per week in office

Perfect Venue is committed to building a winning team
